I've been trying to make efficient routing for Monster Card hunting, by taking advantage of the % item drop bonuses from area bosses. The idea is to obtain the buff from the area boss first, before hunting for the cards in the bullet-pointed order, in turn giving you a higher monster card drop rate. Non bolded monsters give cards to help towards future hunting, but they are not your main goal for the particular map. Stay in the maps until you complete the sets for monster's marked in bold. Once you have obtained the bold cards, move to the next map. Return to the area boss when necessary to refresh your +% item drop buff. Lith Harbor - Mano Card for +10% item droprate: Thicket Around the Beach III: Snail, Stump, Mano, Slime Right Around Lith Harbor: Blue Snail, Red Snail, Slime Total = 4 cards; Snail, Blue Snail, Stump, Mano Henesys - Mushmom Card for +20% item droprate: Someone Else's House: Iron Hog, Mushmom, Fairy Entrance to Golems Temple Fairy, Stone Golem, Blue Mushroom (Warning: Slow) The Blue Mushroom Forest: Blue Mushroom, Red Snail, Slime Hill East Of Henesys: Slime, Orange Mushroom, Red Snail, Ribbon Pig Mushroom Garden: Shroom, Orange Mushroom, Red Snail Rainforest East of Henesys: Pig, Ribbon Pig Total = 11 cards; Red Snail, Shroom, Orange Mushroom, Blue Mushroom, Slime, Pig, Ribbon Pig, Iron Hog, Mushmom, Fairy, Stone Golem. No idea if this is useful for anyone, or if it should be made into its own guide or worth compiling into this one idk. Working on the Ellinia area now.
I’d also like to add onto this — I bought 13 monster bags and almost have the full sets too. I tested it last night, so it’s just an easier way of getting a few cards if the bosses are all dead. C: Please keep Galore bags at 20m merchers!
For anyone curious about Fairy 1, I THINK They're the brown fairy that spawns randomly... Not sure yet, I didn’t get a card within 30min so I left. If you’re curious as to where I hunted, Tree Dungeon - Forest up North III — I cc’ed and killed the two fairy spawns.
Yeah I thought as much, I had an issue with them too. I'm keeping track of the monsters I'm having problems with, maybe something might be done about it....? :thonking: (I've also already given up on a few cards too because of spawn problems...)
it's those Boogie things that spawn rarely in maps. (Boars map comes to my mind) Same with "Fairy 1" I'm just too lazy to sit there for hours and document it haha
Oh no, I haven't really tried to search for them either I gave up after 20min and moved on to the next monster and oof, hope you reported them lol
Where is giant centipede card from......... I try 2 its will burn map and solve the qust but its never drop.......
