Currently I have nearly 600k NX and about 1.5b in mesos, not accounting for maybe another 600m if I sold the things I want to sell (like scrolls, scrolled equips, etc.) If I buy AP resets with NX, then I can afford 193 AP resets, which is more than enough I think since I have a buccaneer which doesn't need much washing. Or I can buy the AP resets myself and mushroom shrine gacha the NX. The reason why I'm asking is that if I use the mesos I have now to buy the AP resets then I'm only losing out on mesos, whereas the alternative is that I lose out on NX. But mesos become relatively cheaper than NX as the game goes on. AP resets were 5m when I first started the game years ago, now they're 15m, so NX has gotten more valuable overtime in comparison to mesos. So I can spend, for example, 1.5b if I wanted 100 AP resets for 15m each. That would be around 310,000 NX. In a few months they'll be 16m each, and I can spend 310,000 NX to make 1.6b back. I won't spend the NX unless I really need it, so I'll end up hoarding it for awhile anyways. But if I spend the 310,000 NX now then I lose out on a theoretical 100m in a few months. IMO I would buy the AP resets I need now via mesos and gacha the rest of the NX whenever I want, since I could sell the items I get anytime I want. If I sell them quickly, I make money quickly. If I sell them slowly, the more expensive items tend to increase in price so I'll get more money (I checked Shay's 1 month+ outdated scroll price guide and a lot of the valuable items are already comparatively cheaper then than they are now.) Thoughts? Or am I completely overthinking it and it really doesn't matter.
One thing to consider is that if the time you spend buying the ap resets in the fm is more than 2 hours or so, it may have been worth it to just buy them with nx and then apq / sell leech / cwkpq etc (time varies with number of ap resets you're going to buy of course).
That's true, but currently I'm not married on any of my characters (I was married on one 2 years ago but now I'm not for some reason?), and I really hate selling leech so I tend not to do it, and I can't CWKPQ because all my characters are too low are too useless for it. So those other options don't really have as much a comparative advantage. I find I can just type B>AP resets once every 30-60 seconds and do something else IRL. Right now I'm just leeching myself to get to 120 on my HP washing character (level 115 so far, going 2 levels per day) so I'm not in a rush to get the AP resets if I were to purchase them in FM. But I guess another, add-on question, I'm washing a bucc with really low base INT (like 15 or something) with just tons of int gear on, so after 120 would it still be better to leech or 2hit at petris with HS, or to go bossing? Since I'm not really burdened by the INT as much. Assuming I do and don't have a good knuckle (85/17 str Pyrope knuckle; or if I buy/scroll a 105+ King Cent)
You won't be able to get party exp at standard bosses (zak/krex) until 135. I'm not sure if leeching at petris is faster than grinding on bucc with hs, but if you have very little base int it doesn't cost you much to head over to ToT and spend a little time measuring %/hr (you should bring your hs of course). One other advantage of doing ToT is you'd be able to go through the quests and fill out the ToT mob sets in your book.
How about if while I'm buying/selling on the FM or setting up my shop, someone is selling APR for 15m? It wouldn't be any effort to buy it.
Yes but most people who sell them in FM have a low quantity, let's say no more than about 10 ap resets for sale. I'm assuming you're looking for a large amount (100+). The average player wouldn't have that many to sell, man.
if u arent intending to spend ur mesos elsewhere in the short term, such as for gear, then i wld recommend buying ap resets with mesos.
