Commission art/selling art

is that not allowed here anymore? i read some forums about third party i need someone to clarify if possible ^^

 

I was told that this constitutes Real World Trading (RWT).

The reasoning I was given is that exchanging non-MapleRoyals services for meso is RWT. It effectively gives an out for actual RWTers who can justify their sudden funds/items by saying well they sold some non-MapleRoyals service to get all that.

Of course, a staff member should weigh in, but figured you'd want a response based on what I asked Tim a year and a half ago regarding the viability to charging meso for HP washing calculations (back when I had to manually make spreadsheets and it took an hour to do so, rip those days).

 

Lmao. I'm going to be so fucking pissed off if someone is given the okay to benefit monetarily from something I made for free for the community and still do for free for anyone who asks. Actually triggered, and that rarely happens. Zzzzz.

 

You're allowed to create artwork for people, but you cannot profit from it in any way unfortunately. This was our stance on the matter and it hasn't changed since.

You can advertise for sure yes, as people love looking at others artwork!
