    Like I said in my original post, I understand your main argument is regarding Dark Knight players who are not yet competent to manage their Zerking HP. I merely decided to take the effort to respond to every point you made and demonstrate why it's silly to argue Dark Knights need a buff, especially a self-resurrection considering bishops exist.

    Also, you really should do your due diligence and fact check your claims before stating them. I took the time to run the DPS calculations for you. Again, without accounting for real world instances of rebuffing and recharging Heroes' ACA, in theory, a Dragon Claymore with SI deals 12.31m DPM. A Sky Ski with SI deals 11.41m DPM. Hero is thus 8% better in this theoretical (not actual gameplay) scenario. I assumed perfect weapons, Heartstoppers, and no party buffs as you requested.

    A Stonetooth Sword without SI deals 11.08m DPM. A Sky Ski without SI deals 9.94 DPM. Hero is thus 11% better in this theoretical (not actual gameplay) scenario. Again, assuming perfect weapons, Heartstoppers, and no party buffs as you requested.

    So considering how in actual gameplay, a Dark Knight outdamages a hero in the first situation (with SI) with a hero supposedly being 8% stronger, at most without SI, heroes outdamage Dark Knights by 3%. Such outdamage, much wow. I'm being sarcastic because the difference in the worst case scenario is so minute. 300k damage per minute difference, maximum. Which is less than 2 seconds of the Dark Knight's DPS:

    My response to your schtick about heroes can stay at full HP while DPSing and Dark Knights have a risk of dying while DPSing is again, 1. Dark Knight > Hero DPS or worst case scenario are worse by 2 seconds lol and 2. pretty much git gud and learn how to play a Dark Knight properly or just... you know, don't Zerk I guess. You can't have your cake and eat it too that you get to be the top DPS warrior and have useful party buffs in HB and your class specific crash and be able to read 4chan while holding down Spear Crusher and not pay attention to your HP. Want to quasi bot and just let your pet do its thing as you hold down your attack? Then make a hero, but you bring zero benefit to your party with your support skills and you're worse at DPSing. That's balanced and fair.

    It's funny how people respond to the points you make and then you kinda just push them aside and say well, that point I made doesn't matter. Also I was talking on shoutbox last night on how amused I was that you want even more HP to Zerk at (or the return of a glitch for self-resurrection). You do realize that the staff on Royals buffed Zerk so it activates at 50% HP right? Old source, as in 2016 and before, it was 40%. So Zerking is easier than it was for the first three years that Royals existed and you want more handouts? Why? Lol.

    I'll reply to your responses that you take the time and effort to format. And again, I bring up my own main point: why not just bring a bishop for resurrection...?

    I feel like you're just set on this rationale of Dark Knights are a melee class, Dark Knights need to maintain less than 15k HP to optimally DPS, Dark Knights need a buff!! When I brought up multiple detailed points on why Dark Knights are a balanced class compared to Heroes (and how you can bring a bishop if you do die if you're dying that often). Yet you seem to ignore those things I brought up.

    I'd support a Zerking change or Achilles buff if Dark Knight players could not do core bosses like Horntail which is important to viably fund and gear a character via only bossing.

    But they do, and they do just fine.

    So yeah, that's what it comes down to really. :p

    I've been to HT as a Shadower, i am 100% sure that DrKs destroy Hero's & Pally's DPS wise. In multi target comparisson they rip Shadowers apart too, in single target they get nutted by Shadowers though. The only scenario when a DrK is in an disadvantageous situation is when he 1. Has lag spikes or 2. Doesn't pay attention
    Not to mention their rather cheap skillbooks and HP washing required.


    Also, basically in your first sentence of your thread you admit that you're new to the class. Why not just get better?
    I'd just try harder if i was you. If you kind of want to play a class where you afk hold down a button play a different class. :3

    told ya no one thinks dks need to be buffed(at least on forums, ingame i found a lot of ppl who thinks like me), i have to say it is true u get used to zerk and die much less with experience and even easier with achiles(except if u have a crappy pc like me, then ure always gonna die even being high lvl and a experienced zerker), and ure asking to bring back a glitch, and tahts not right, but dks NEEDS to be buffed,its not fair to be the hardest(i say hardest not cheapest) class to play and not be the strongest one. be a DK is cool, nice and kinda rewarding for me, but i have to admit its just for unfuded chars, if u have some billions to spend that doesnt make this class much better besides of course godly gears....

    I'm sorry to hear that you have a crap PC. Although it is very unfortunate, the server cannot compromise the game style for individuals' technical issues. A laggy condition may result in the death of not only zerking Drks but every other class as pets fail to autopot during the frozen frames.

    I won't say Drk is the hardest class to play until PB is released. Currently, the only popular boss that tests the limit of a zerking Drk is Toad and its consecutive tongue attacks that cannot be anticipated with a cue. The only solution here is to "git gud" and react quick enough, which is quite possible if you react when you see the toad duck its head before the tongue comes out. Anego is another one but melee attackers hardly ever go there as it takes a great effort to scan through the anego map let alone pin it with relatively slower attacks. Melees also have plenty of BF to hunt with an advantage over ranged classes concerning the iframe.

    Corsair has a harder time almost everywhere else as they are boss-centered DPS class with crap mobbing abilities. Yet, they are rewarded with the highest raw DPS.
    Although I believe that Drk is at a fairly balanced position, I agree to an extent that buff would be gratifying in return for the drk's difficult playstyle.
    However, it would destroy the original playstyle if the buff comprises reduced difficulties.

    Dark Knight was originally designed for Masochists. Imagine how they had to zerk at 40% trigger HP when HP washing wasn't even viable in the pre-BigBang days.
    50% zerk already feels too unchallenging when HP washing to 30k HP with HB is easily achieved even by newbies.

    As I mentioned before in another thread, buffing the DPS of Drk via stackable hex att buff, in return for reduced zerk activation HP to 40%, would bring back the challenging aspect of this class while it retains a quality reward for the brave hearts who dare to take the challenge.

    This class shouldn't be hospitable toward the lazy hands.

    LOL, thats correct my first HT I was sweating and didnt chat even once but eventually I got used to it and learned from my mistakes such as not to use sacrifice in HT. Aside from HT, serk at Toad is doable as well.

    Are you setting your auto HP correctly on pet and what pots do you usually use?

    Shoutouts to me back in the day when I would die like 15 times on Horntail's legs and lose all my exp.

    It's a cool "mechanic" but its actually the worst thing ever if you care about leveling up. I don't know what to say except "git gud" at using berserk. It really isn't very difficult.

    in general therms i totally agree with u, but theres several thing u said i have to strongly disagree...
    1.-lag is not an individual issue, u can have a gamer pc, u still gonna lag at times, but that doesnt matter, i dont want the playstyle of dk become easier, i want to be more rewarding.
    2.-i heard of u 2 times "Dark Knight was originally designed for Masochists". pall this game wanst intended to diagnose sexual mental illness.i am going to make another trhead someday about this game designes and bigbang when i got time, but to summ up, u have to remeber 4th jobs werent originaly designed at all. theres no class intented to make a player suffer, if u want to suffer and ejoy it its ok, but stop saying "its the way dk should be play". deffinition of dk gamestyle is "high risk, high reward" except they forgot the high reward, and even worse in our server the "highest risk, highest reward" originally intended class (NL) can be buffed up via hp washing, something impossible back in thosea early years in gms.

    3.-"the brave hearts who dare to take the challenge." stop the poetry my friend, this is a game and im totally into dk playstyle become even harder, just if the reward is fullfiling. imagine 40% hp or even 35% but 300% dmg increase, thats gonna be hard as hell, but dammmmmn rewarding be the srongest class in the game. the way is today, even 50% is too much for being the 5th or 6th dps in the game. I agree challengin playstyle of dk is fun, but to be fair its already enough challenge for the reward it brings, make the att buffs stack withouth nerfing anything, its just fair. if they put it back to 40%, they have to increase subtancianly the dmg cap....
