Hi all, I'm new to the server and am starting a Cleric, naturally unfunded lol. All guides I've seen say LUKless is the way to go due to max damage potential at high level. But of course this requires some time and effort to invest in building up funds and buying LUKless gear. As I'm leveling, would it be advisable to have regular LUK so I can at least wear gear while leveling and then revert to LUKless with AP resets at higher levels? Is that too much NX wasted on AP resets? Also I believe I would be losing out on Max MP because IIRC MP is possibly affected by INT while leveling, so less INT (due to adding points to LUK) means less Max MP even if I go LUKless later, but I could be wrong about that. Or should I stay LUKless and simply not wear any gear at all until I can either farm/scroll or buy good gear? Any other advice on gearing while leveling would be appreciated. Thanks!!
Gears are pretty accessable in royals such as maple staff and maple lama staff. You will be suprised that they are actually possible to purchase on just by walking around FM shops for under 10mil You also get daily Vote of 8k NX, and those spent into buying APR/Gacha after reaching lvl50 will give u way more accessibility to such pure int gears. so very highly i suggest that you go pure int! Take a look at my “bishop Guide 2019” found in class guides! I have lots of progression tips and Mana pool washing content inside! I hope it helps!

A lukless mage, even unfunded out damages a luk'd mage, or has pretty similar damage . People actually go lukless in the old days to save money since their staff has 0 requirements
Question in regards to this - being unfunded I would imagine that it's much easier/ cheaper to find high level mage equips, couldn't I make up the difference in damage this way with scrolls plus the natural weapon/ armor effects? Just as an example Yellow Snowshoes have ~3 INT but require no LUK, where Dark Neli Shoes have ~4 INT, with possible 0-2 MA. Is there any merit to what how I'm thinking, or am I completely wrong?
Nah let's say you add like 30 base luk and be able to wear lvl 40 gear and stuff You can get stuff like 9 int clean overall, 8 int shoe/glove , for a total of 25 more INT. The 25 INT you get counters the base luk you added so in the end you stay with the same damage, while having to spend more money to buy gear Now later on once you get stuff like zhelm/htp/rings etc you'd be able to wear the lvl 40 gear without any base LUK so all the LUK you added will be wasted and you;'d have to buy AP resets to reset it back (which will cost like 400m)
