is she allowed to play from my pc? She currently doesn't own one, and would really only play at my house, for the time being. I don't wanna get hit with a perm for account sharing.
You should be fine, as long as you don't open up two clients at the same time-- one for her and one for you. As for voting to recieve nx, she should hold off on it until she gets a pc of her own c:
Like what Madori said She's allow to play at your computer as long as you guys take turns to login, and not login at the same time (that's 100% account sharing) For voting, apply for Whitelist if both of you need the NX (the whitelist application will take a few weeks to process at least)
Get her a shitty old Dell/HP desktop from like Craigslist or Goodwill. Worth it to avoid the risk of potentially leaving your account logged in on a tabbed out client and mistakenly having her log in on a new client and being wrongfully(??) banned. It sounds like it's easy to avoid but in reality little slip ups like that do happen and there's no way to really defend yourself when it does despite being the one select case where you would actually be innocent. I can't begin to count the amount of times I've been like 'okay that's stupid easy I'll never fuck it up', and low and behold once in a blue moon I still manage to do exactly that. Idk, maybe you're more of a risk taker than I am but to me that risk:reward just ain't there with those old comps being so easily accessible and affordable. Plus, this way you'll actually be able to play alongside her, she'll have her own computer (?~?>?~? 2019???), and it'll likely run our version of MS better than our current day gayming computers do anyways. I had to HT on my aunt's suitcase back in the day while on vacation...no DC, just lag, and none of that gfx nonsense either.
I am pretty sure that's not how voting works. She needs to vote somewhere else using different connection, having pc of her own won't still let her vote at his house if he is voting daily. (Unless whitelist)
Yes but if she votes somewhere else, and only plays at his house it could look like hes vote abusing and the whitelist takes a few weeks to get accepted. Shes better off not voting until she can get her own pc or laptop to avoid the hassle of the ban appeal
As long as they get an approved whitelist application it doesnt matter if they have individual pcs or sharing one.
