With the legality of character repeat being settled (https://royals.ms/forum/threads/on-the-legality-of-character-repeat.139154/#post-820118) I am now making the promised guide on the topic, if you want a better explanation of character repeat I suggest reading the thread above, but the tl;dr is that Character Repeat is a windows feature that is what makes it so that when you hold down a key, the key is repeated for as long as it's held. This guide will show you how to edit how fast that repeating happens, all the way up to 60 inputs a second.

Things to know before you adjust your Character Repeat rate

    - Character Repeat is a default windows feature, meaning this doesn't just affect Mapleroyals, but everything you do. It may be odd adjusting to the newfound speed at first, depending on how fast you type naturally.
    - Adjusting Character Repeat beyond the norm requires you to change things in your registry.
    - The staff will not give support for possible issues that could arise depending on what the feature is used for in-game, e.g. client disconnections from spamming packets to the server faster than normal. Although I have been using this for about a month with no issues, it is a possibility that you should be aware of.

    And now onto the guide.

What can this do for you, you might ask? Well, compare the two videos below, that should be reason enough.

Example: Default 10 per second speed:

    Adjusted 60 per second speed:

The two guides below will explain how to adjust the character rate to the intended max, and the real max.

    16 inputs per second guide

The steps for adjusting your character repeat rate naturally is quite simple, just go into the taskbar search bar and search "Keyboard". From there, click the "Keyboard" result and you can adjust your character repeat rate. If you can't find "Keyboard" in the search bar, alternatively you can open control panel, go to device settings, right click your keyboard device, and select "Keyboard settings" to get the same screen

    60 inputs per second guide

For a more in depth adjustment, you need to go into your computer's registry.
First, go into your taskbar's search bar and type "Regedit" and open the resulting program(On windows 10, you can press windows key + R, and then type "Regedit" in that dialog box), you'll see a screen like this:

From there, you go into the same subfolders that are shown in the picture, going
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Keyboard Response
This ends you up at the directory which has the setting we're looking for, you can edit these settings by clicking the name of the setting, not its number

If you simply wish to copy the settings I have, feel free to, but on the specifics...

AutoRepeatDelay and AutoRepeatRate are the two settings that we're looking to adjust, AutoRepeatDelay is how long you have to hold down a key before it starts repeating, I do not suggest putting this any lower than 150.
AutoRepeatRate is how fast you're going to repeat the keystroke, if you want the maximum possible speed, set it to 1.
BounceTime and DelayBeforeAcceptance I'm not entirely sure of the purpose, but I do know you want to leave them at 0, and finally, flags should be set to 59, and don't adjust the LastValidData sets (The ones at the bottom)

From there, you need to restart your computer, or else these changes won't take any effect.

And that concludes my mini guide on how to adjust your Character Repeat Rate

Which part? The registry or the simple?
For the registry, press windows key+R, then type "regedit" in the box that appears, then follow the steps above

So, the "key board settings" screen is the simple default way of editing character repeat, using that method it caps out at 16 inputs per second. If that's ok with you, another way to open that would be to go to control panel, then device settings, and then right click your keyboard device and hit "keyboard settings"
