    Hello,

I just signed up for an account today and have been searching through these forums for a and others for a few hours trying to find a solution get this program to boot in windows 10 to no avail. All that I see that happens when I start the program in my task manager is the task opens for a few seconds and then closes, I get no dialog boxes on my desktop for the program attempting to open.

I have been trying running in compatibility mode from Win98/ME-Win7, running as admin, whitelisting all .exe's with my AV, running lolwut, following https://royals.ms/forum/threads/update-60-client-startup-errors.137658/, changing refresh rate to 60 Hz, installing .NET framework, and so forth.

I'm curious if anybody has any other tips or tricks to get this thing running, or if I just need to give up hope of getting this going.

If you deleted dinput8.dll, reinstall MapleRoyals and don't delete it this time

Thanks for the reply. I tried installing it again, left the .dll in place, and still no booting. I've tried restarting multiple times as well.

Can't think of other possible methods since you already tried them:
    - compatibility mode
    - run as Admin
    - adding exe to exception

How about disabling your Anti Virus to try launch the game? Could you try this out as well?

Crazy, it worked. Looks like my AV (webroot) is blocking access perpetually and I'll just have to kill it before every start of the program. Appreciate the assistance.

Maybe that Anti Virus is too strict lol

My McAfee allows me to run Royals once I added exception

I've done everything on this list as well, including shutting off my firewall, yet the client wont even launch for me. Not sure what else to try, i've asked around and no one knows what's up with my client.
