Let's compromise. In October Magatia PQ is the best (seeing as its boss is basically Frankenstein's Monster) The remainder of the year it's Orbis PQ. Deal? Deal.
please no... this is not nostalgic... I prefer to grind on skele all the way to 200 with no guild interactions.
Greeby considering we already have the start of crimson wood, your argument is rather flat. Cwkpq came out not long after phantom forest itself did. By that argument you're saying Bigfoot and wind raiders etc aren't "nostalgic". Also it's a really lame counter argument.
Except it was. Because Crimsonwood keep and Phantom forest came out in 0.59 (14 Aug 2008) Crimsonwood keep party quest came out in v 0.66 (5 Mar 2009) Version 62 came out in (12 Nov 2008) So a few months difference is no longer nostalgic? I disagree. http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Guide-What-Came-When-in-GMS-283.html
first its Cwkpq then its big bang event... 0.62 (12 Nov 2008) - Pirate Class - New World - Demethos - Turkey Event - Frog Mount - Ostridge Mount 0.63 (17 Dec 2008) - Christmas - Magatia - GM event - World Map Update 0.64 (22 Jan 2009) - 7th Day Market - Magatia Party Quest - New Tutorial - Auto AP - Valentine's Day Event - Lunar New Year's Event 0.65 (23 Jan 2009) - Emergency Patch - Bug Fix 0.66 (5 Mar 2009) - Crimsonwood Keep Party Quest - Mal Volence Party Quest - 100 Buddy List Slots (Increased By 50) - GM Event (Masteria Mob Invasion) No please... this is not nostalgic....
0.93 (7 Dec 2010) - Big Bang And please stop spamming every single suggestion thread with the same comment. If you have something valuable to input, then feel free- however, repeating the same comment and copy pasting it across every single suggestion is counter productive. The server will never grow if we never give new content for players.
A major reason many people leave is because it gets boring after a while. The natural lack of content in earlier versions of GMS make it so there's less for end game characters to do. Meaning they either do the same thing over and over or they quit out of bordom. Implementing certain new content can be nostalgic depending on what content is added. Anything in the 60s or 70s I consider nostalgic, after that it depends. And of course nostalgia is a matter of opinion. For someone who played in beta v62 might not be nostalgic to them, it all depends on perspective. So using the argument that "it's not nostalgic" is essentially the same thing as saying "I don't like it." Except using wording that the server itself uses to try to sound more legitimate.
A nostalgic feeling is great, but it doesn't last long. After a while it just becomes a fun server that just happens to feature an old version of the game. People might (and probably do) join this server for nostalgic reasons, but without more end-game content they will leave. As you can see, the poll indicates that a very large part of the community wants more content. (CWKPQ, Dojo, Magatia, Pink Bean, Maker skill, whatever). To me those additions would not make the server less nostalgic. Anything pre-BB is what I consider nostalgic. As such, I would very much enjoy more content for high-level players, in this case CWKPQ.
That's subjective. You don't have to participate if you don't want to. It's not going to change your Skele grind to 200.
If possible I also think CWKPQ should be in this server. Imo +5 all stat and +3 W/M.ATT would be fair stats for the MoN. If the MoN cannot be changed then maybe the drop rate of MoN can be reduced to a painful amount (1/20 per boss) so that most people go for an HT necklace, and the very rare person has a MoN.
I just personally think a MoN is too OP in comparison to how hard it is to get. +10 ATT is like +50 primary stat. HT is harder than CWKPQ so I think pendant wise it should be Egged HT Necklace > MoN > Dep Star. I'm not too concerned though, if it's +10 so be it, it isn't an amount that's game ruining.
It just give ppl more option of what they want to have or for the very pro players a collection of tropies~ I dun see how it will hurt the game~ More Pq = to more interaction = to more united community~
I think MoN is very good but it would be nice with a strong alternative to Htp since horntail is hard and getting a pendant for everyone will take a lot of time. Only reason for cwkpq is the MoN, horntail has drops everyone needs and letting people get a good pendant fairly easy it's not game breaking. Why would people do cwkpq if it's worse than a Ht pendant, you need 10 people 2 of each class to do it and if it's not very strong i don't see the interest will last for ever. Instead of nerfing the base stats why not remove slots on it i'm not sure what versions but it had 3 slots at some point. I think keeping it at original stats is better Mages will still need the Htp and all other classes will have more use of the MoN.
It used to have slots in maplestory europe and was untradeable. However on GMS it had 0 slots (which it will also have here most likely) but was tradeable. If MoN would be released with this PQ I'd like to see the MoN to have 5 attack, instead of 10. Having it static stats so they can not go above the standard 5 attack. It would be on par with a HTP pretty much so people could use which one they'd like.
In my opinion the stats of the MoN don't need to be altered. 10 attack is not a gamebreaking amount. It's not a big deal.
If it were to be released like that, it'd be pretty OP compared to a pendant that comes from a harder boss. 10 att +5 all stats > +22 all stats by far. If it were to be +5 att +5 all stats, for some classes it'd be better than HTP and for some classes it wouldn't be. Note, you can actually get on a cwkpq run at lvl 90. Not just that, the pendant is also lower level than a HTP and should therefor reflect that in stats. +5 att +all stats +the hp/mp/acc it has makes it still a very, very good pendant and pretty on par with an egged HTP. In some ways superior to the egged HTP even.
