What kind of Hero are you i.e. one hand+shield or two hand and if you don't mind, why did you choose that option?

I'm a 2h hero using a ST as my main weapon.

Ignoring the fact that I just think that 2h heroes look 500x cooler, and think that 2h brandish has a better vertical range(Honestly, it's been too long for me to be sure), I messed around testing the DPM with equips that I currently have or could easily obtain.



This is comparing my current ST build (Or what it'll be in 15x assuming that I don't upgrade anything) vs Theoretical 1h/shield.

ST build: 126 ST, 10 glove, 34 red cider
1h/shield: 124 sword, 10 glove, 17 shield, 34 cider

If I pumped up the 1h/shield to 126/19 then it would have a slight edge, but I'm currently lacking in the attack department pretty badly, using a statted shoe/cape instead of FS/PGC. I'm not really into using using those items clean and currently have other priorities before I work on them. I'll be upgrading to some decent attack shoes/cape in the near-ish future which would just completely take advantage of the higher damage multiplier on 2h, making it come out on top.

I also compared it using 25 attack potions and the results were the same.


I wrote this while half asleep so let me know if anything I said didn't make sense. Bedtime now

 

The higher attack the potion is, the more the 2H will shine above the 1H+Shield I'm to believe. Asking this for additional research into my End Game Weapon Guide that I'm making drafts of. I'm still a bit unclear with swords, but the new hype as of late is Stonetooth Swords.

First HH solo as a bucc? Learning Barrage and timing and stuff is interesting, and kind of a fun challenge.

Also no clue if this is a success or a faill or both....
7 attk shoes -> chaos'd...down to 2 attk.
6 attk cape -> chaos'd ... Up to 11 attk.

Total gain 1 attk? T.T
