ERROR CODE：-2147467259 (unspecified error) - tried everything, nothing works - Windows 10

Hello, I've been playing the game fine for about 2 weeks or so. I played it last night, woke up and tried to run the game this afternoon but got this error code. I've tried everything people have suggested in the forums. I've deleted "dinput8.dll" from the folder, I've restarted my computer, I've reinstalled the game, updated my drivers and my OS, ran as administrator, installed Visual C++, adjusted to 60 hz. Nothing is working.

Had the same issue, reinstalled and changed compatibility to Windows XP Service pack 2. This solved it for me. Does your error still occure after that?

 

Yes, I've tried that as well. :/

 

1. Which compatibility setting is your client using?

2. Have you tried opening ~10 clients at the same time, in the hope 1~2 will open without error?

3. Was there a windows update or any noticeable change in the pc overnight?

It was in 60hz from the beginning of me playing the game. I doublechecked, nothing has changed.

 

Yes, I've turned them off and made it an exception. Still getting the same error
