I really like it, well done.
    P.S
I have nearly 10k hp and it's totally fine since im using 40/50% pots, my ship doesnt crash so often
Im even mad on my self that I didnt keep int till like 140, so I could gain a little bit more hp..

Thanks Nathan now I know how to be a corsair!

All jokes aside it's a great guide to help people get started and there's only one little thing I could add:
You mentioned that you have 100 shots before it stops you from attacking and that you can do 95 cannonshots a minute. From what I've checked is that I have 65 seconds to move a bit and cast another 100 shots, I combined this with the Heartstopper timer to have a 5 second leeway. So I start my Heartstopper, then start shooting and when my Hearstopper runs out I wiggle for a bit while using a new one and fire away again!
If you don't use Heartstoppers you can use a high-tech device to keep track of your time! ( a clock/stopwatch).

Really tempted to make one now :p
The only thing putting me off is 'Leveling before 120 is hard and leveling post 120 is based upon bossing' - sounds just like my shadower....

Except that Corsairs don't require you to blow up over 100m for a single level after Level 140. :p

One big problem: you're entirely wrong about Bigfoot. Corsairs have the easiest Bigfoot killing mechanic in the game.

(Although I fail miserably in the video, you generally hit 5 or 6 times for every miss.)

Also a smaller and less important correction: you can stand on the top right of Zakum, get KB'd twice, and still have a lot of wiggle room on the platform.

A very well-written guide on Corsairs. I my self played a Corsair in GMS, pre-bb and strongly agree with the difficulties of training a Corsair. I played one from level 1-14x (AHGOD NEWTIE SNIPING FOR WEEKS!) on GMS but then I gave up when BB was released due to peoples ability to make 4th jobbers in a flash. (It made my accomplishment feel like nothing)

There are also other tricks with corsairs like the jump attack trick, attacking while jumping which allows corsairs to attack while moving forward (and with rapid fire, you don't have to constantly tap the button you just shoot at full speed while moving forward if mastered correctly). Also works with Battleship Cannon. It's tough to get on the first try, but if you just sit in the FM and practice, you could have it down in just a couple hours. This trick is also useful for more than just Corsairs.

He's actually covered that (albeit briefly) in his Zakum video.

I usually just read the big walls of text. I already know the job and game inside out, so i usually just skip videos.

Great guide! I'm your fan now :>
anyway, need your advice! first, I got 260m now and I wanna know what's the best gear I can get with this amount. Right now I only have 6att gloves (got for free) and 69att lvl 64 maple gun.
Guess the best item is Zhelm so what can I get for the other 160m?
Second, how am I supposed to get Str from items if I'm looking for Dex items?

Exalon has retired for now, but I'll give you my opinion on equips.

Like you said, a Zakum Helmet is the best investment now, but work on your gun a bit. They can get relatively godly clean and with Scroll for Gun 60% and 30% being pretty cheap, this will give you more bang for your buck.

Too bad he quit :< but thanks for the help.
Can you give me estimated prices for the less important gear, like earrings and shoes with some dex?

Invest in 10 Dex Earrings which cost around 100m

Shoes should be a pair of pirate shoes that are around 15-20m for a 12+ stat clean pair at level 80

A nice pirate overall scrolled with Dex is also ideal, but clean, high stat pirate overalls can be hard to come by. Keep searching through the market or farm your own via mobs. A 30+ stat robe is a good place to end.

At this point, you will want to upgrade your glove to a 10 attack or 11 attack.

If Im supposed to get a pirate equips then I SHOULD put points in str? cuz in the guide Exalon says I should get base 50 str by 100 and then get the other 50 through equips, so how am I supposed to do that? there's zhelm, the pendant and what else?

I would absolutely love to see videos of how you train at specific places.
I don't even care about explanations or editing, I just wanna watch the master at work :D
Please make a long video with raw training footage from all the training spots from 3rd job and up, I beg you.

It is a decent gun for a decent price. Not a endgame gun but still great for early 4th job:)
