A Second chance.

i dont get it.. there are a lot of ban appeals everyday and im telling myself why they wouldnt give a second chance for the players that just want to play that server again? i know that there are rules and once ur caught doing the wrong move , its immediately a perm ban! it's not making any sense!
i've been banned because of try to make a real world trade , well that 1 i really didnt know that there is a rule sayin that it cannot be done here, and once you did it - u'll get a perm ban.
Why would I ruin my entire investment on a player that I've been building for years in such a small and unwise moment? It's my fault that I did not read the rules, but on the other hand, I think that players learn from past mistakes and will not want to be a player with their entire lives invested in it.
I know it will not help to move anything here, just a discussion to know what you think about the subject of the whole desicions about the perm bans,

It's up to you to read the rules. If you don't care about doing that and break a perma ban rule and aint allowed to play anymore, that's on you. Learn from it and make sure you are aware of the rules in other online games you may join in the future.

On a side note, the reason why second chances are rarely, if ever, given is because they have to apply the same rules to everyone regardless of circumstance. It's very easy to lie and make excuses too. If everyone could get away with excuses, no one would ever get banned

What's to stop everyone from RWTing and then claiming to have not read the rules if caught? If what you suggest is what we were to do in actual practice it would present a low risk, high reward path for every new player to take since it's extremely easy to just feign ignorance.

Many offenses actually already do give you second chances. That being said, the ban appeal section was never meant to be the place to look for second chances, but rather the place to go to appeal a wrongful ban since we make mistakes too.

Even without having read the rules, our ad on GTOP, a site in which I'd expect someone who is looking for a competitive advantage to visit on the daily, specifies that this is a "No pay2win" server in the very first tag.

If you invest all your time in the game for years but cant spend 1 minute to look at the rules then it's your fault. You dont deserve a second chance.
Plus, theres not enough staff. Imagine if everyone in the ban appeals received a second chance. That would double the work GMs would have to do because i can guarantee you most will redo the same mistakes and then blame it on someone else.
Also, everyone will say "oh its my brother".
If everyone receives a second chance it will seem like the rules arent that serious and it will cause even more damage.
This server is already full of people who bot and break the rules. Just...no.

 

What if a new player played for 1 day, shared his account with his friend for 1 min, then get permanently banned forever for account sharing?

 

unless the friend does something that breaks one of the perma ban rules, that should b 30 days ban
