Hey tim, I set everything up, but when I entered the game I always felt the picture was not smooth. When I started the game, I found that it would be faster not to set compatibility.
I followed every single introduction from the guide, including compatibility 98/me thing and installing vmware tools. When I launch the game, both normal mode and fullscreen mode, the screen goes pitch black and the game becomes not responding on my virutal machine. It there any solution on this? I tried running setup program from mapleroyals folder, but it did not help. I looked up on forum and tried countless number of fixes, but non of them worked.
i came here with multiple issues and switching to windows nt 4.0 fixed all of them. thank you. also: nice magic exp
Getting error "the procedure entry point initializecriticalsectionex could not be located kernel32.dll" when trying to launch mapleroyals in VM since latest update edit: this fixed it https://royals.ms/forum/threads/update-60-client-startup-errors.137658/
from your picture it looks like you might be connected? this is the settings i use, works for me but you might want to use something different.
Thanks that worked! I downloaded and installed MapleRoyals on my VMWare Player Windows. But now when I try to open the MapleRoyals program, a window pops up and says The procedure entry point InitializeCriticalSectionEx could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll, preventing me from playing the game. Any idea what that means?
Too hard and time consuming work. Why can't the staff just fix this problem ( mostly players with HP laptop have this problem such as error 2147 ). This is #1 private server and money is easy to come by to staff members, so why can't the staff just fix this simple problem?
https://royals.ms/forum/threads/update-60-client-startup-errors.137658/ read this they were already solved this problem
Installed VMware and Mapleroyals work (thankfully). The first thing I noticed was that the cursor in-game is much less sensitive compared to Mapleroyals outside of VMware. The second thing I noticed was that the moment I try to GFX the game crashes. Any help? Update: Upon further testing, I realised that some spells don't work on VMware O.O For example Rage doesn't work at all - the animation casts but the effects nor the buff icon appears
Go to your vm's mouse settings and untick enhance pointer precision and raise speed by 1. That fixed it for me
ah yes mouse pointer problem solved!! thank you! But the big problem is the instant crash on gfx and also some spells apparently not working on VMware's mapleroyals???
