First , after you try all the availbe options and nothing work , Put the compatibility mode in Windows 7 mode, and you will be marked on the system administrator and that's all up to here.
About the video card, check that it is in the most up-to-date state.

Now go into Display Settings -> Advanced Display Settings -> Display Adapter Properties -> Select the "Monitor" tab -> and change the screen refresh rate from 59Hz to 60Hz and press Apply.

Now try to run MapleStory in administrator mode, Its should be work now , if dosent try to reset PC and run it again , if its still not work , post here your problem , and i will try to help .

I had this problem for 3 days , and i was searching a solution for 3 days , and found it now , i use Win 10 .

    Good Luck. ! :)

Thanks for posting this, I changed my refresh rate to 60 Hz and it fixed the problem immediately (earlier I was getting the error message non-stop, even after trying many MANY other fixes)

@Matt I'd suggest you take a look at this solution and potentially add it to the troubleshooting thread for this bug. Thanks again VaLea!

Try every option there is, 1050x / 950x etc...

update your drivers and graphic cards, run compatibility windows 7 and admin etc.

There are a lot of threads there where people have gotten their error fixed with different methods.

So i started this game not so long ago, and just recently stumbled upon this issue, and I've tried everything that this thread told me i should do, (restart PC, 60 HZ, compatibility for windows 7, etc. ) i'm also playing on a windows 10. and i was playing completely fine until it occurred, and it would occur after i log onto my character .

If you have a 2nd monitor, ensure it's 60 hz too

I would try updating the drivers via device manager
