Mapleroyals restarts computer

So whenever i am playing on royals, my desktop will randomly restart. The screen immediately turns black and then the desktop starts to power on. This issue only happens when royals is open. I am using windows 10 with my specs down below:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core Processor 3.00 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 16 GB (15.9 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit Operating system, x64-based processor

 

is this a new desktop? Try reinserting your ramsticks and see if that fixes the issue.

 

So i checked the inside of my pc and it was really dusty. So i undusted it in every spot with q tips and also reinserted the ram stick after. So far, the issue isnt happening anymore.

Hmm well it seems the problem is still arriving. I also tried using AMD chill, but the problem is still happening.

 

Have you checked temps to see if anything is overheating still?

 

Nothing is overheating, and i also play mapleroyals on my laptop, and this issue never occurs. This is not an overheating issue for sure. Maybe my PC is "too powerful" for royals?

 

Doesn't make sense for a pc to lock up and restart over a decade old game lol. Does seem like something may be wrong with the desktop. Have you tried repasting the thermals?
