Just making this post to confirm/deny the stuff I read from posts that were a couple years ago. From what I've read, there's like different formulas and tables but I just want a simple summary on attack speed and damage for spears. With Booster + SI + Apple: Perf Skis (139wa) > Perf Fishing Pole (112wa) > Perf Dragon Faltizan (152wa) With Booster + Apple: Perf Fishing Pole (112wa) > Perf Skis (139wa) > Perf Dragon Faltizan (152wa) The reason Booster + SI is better for skis is because both are actually the same speed with these buffs. The pole reaches a cap speed it can't go above so it doesn't gain a boost with the addition of SI and the skis reach the cap with SI. So at the same speed, skis have a higher damage because of the higher weapon attack (139 > 112). For the same reasoning above, just Booster is better for the pole because the skis are 1 speed slower than the capped speed while the pole is at the capped speed. That 1 speed difference is enough for the pole to out damage the skis with an apple. I also read the difference between attack speeds is around 10 wa but not sure if this is true. For example, 120wa skis = 130wa falt. If anyone can confirm/deny or offer other information that would be helpful. I don't think perfect fishing pole can beat ski, the atk difference is just too big Without SI fast attack spears like fishing pole are only about 7% faster than sky skis (crusher takes 0.87 sec with pole and 0.93 with ski). Let's say you use gelt and have really strong atk gear (like 80 atk in total including MON). You will get 312 atk in total (112+80+120) with the fishing pole and 339 with the skis. If you multiply the 312 atk by 1.07 (cause it's 7% faster) you'd get 333 which is still lower than the 339 atk of the ski user.
So if the difference between attack speeds is 7% on spears, would the following be correct? Dragon Faltizan: (152+80+120) = 352 Sky Skis: (139+80+120) = 339 * 1.07 = 363 Fishing Pole (112+80+120) = 312 * 1.14 = 356 Skis are 7% faster than Falt but 7% slower than Pole Pole is 7% faster than Skis and 14% faster than Falt

Wow that's interesting. If the numbers are somewhat accurate I don't see why people don't scroll a perfect pole or faltizan or pyrope spear as a cheaper alternative. The difference is only around 7-11 weapon attack and you could save billions scrolling something else than skis. Pretty useful for a broke boy like me.
Oh the part with 5-6% was a mistake cause it's always the same %, but the significance of atk speed is dependent on the total atk you have. For example if you had perfect ski, stoppers and 51 atk gear that's only 250 atk. 250 atkX1.07 is 267.5 and a perect faitazan user would have 263 atk So in that case ski is only worth 4.5 more than faitazan when you use stopper and above average (but not godly) atk gear. If you use a non perfect weapon and have weaker gear it will be even less of a difference. I guess the reason people don't use perfect faitazan is that it's quite a rare weapon to get and you can only get a perfect one from crafting or perion gach/ht, so the price difference between it and ski isn't that big. If it was as common as nisrock or craven or something it could be a cheap alternative to sky skis. The same with fishing pole, it's a rare weapon and it's also a lot weaker when you have SI
I definitely agree it's harder to get a perfect spear if you try to gach/craft/kill for one. In terms of buying though I think is where you can save billions. I think clean perf skis can run maybe around 6bil or more but a clean perf faltizan I've seen 2bil or less and I bought a clean perf fishing pole for 200mil. Obviously perf skis are preferred but I wouldn't mind settling for slightly lower weapon attack or a different spear if it means saving billions. I've actually never seen a perf faltizan or perf fishing pole.
