The GP issue has been fixed. Hopefully this adds more fun to GPQ'ing as the rankings will now work properly. Additionally, if someone could check the current reported bugs in the first post of this thread and see if they still exist or have been fixed, that would be great as well. Thank you!
After the big server check yesterday, implenting the Halloween event, the GP of SuperVillain has been reset. We originally had around 5,8k GP, which is now down to 0. Would be greatly appreciated by me, and my guild members, if this could be recovered. Thanks in advance, Bruuh
For some reason on the boss stage, a guildie hermit respawned at Victoria Road Excavation Site <Camp> instead of inside the pq like I did (when dead). Asked about his map.wz and said he had the halloween patch as well, so it's probably not a client issue.
The following is a list of all, or very nearly all, non-visual bugs that were still present in GPQ two weeks before this post. Protector Rocks (the GPQ earrings) disconnect a character if dropped outside of GPQ. They should be removed upon leaving the GPQ exit map. Currently, they are removed upon relogging after leaving GPQ, but not immediately after leaving GPQ. Party Requirement: There must be a party of 6 members in order to GPQ. Currently, guilds can enter and complete the party quest with ANY number of players. Also, if the number of players drops below 6 at any point during the GPQ, the remaining members should be booted from pq. This does not happen 100% of the time. I have personally witnessed parties both being and no being removed from the pq when the total number of members falls below 6. In stage 3 of the GPQ, the etc items: Badge of Courage, Wisdom Scroll, 700-yr-old Jr. Necki Whiskey, and Spoiled Food are used to complete the stage. Upon exiting the GPQ, all of these items are to be removed from the user's inventory. Currently, only the Badge of Courage and Wisdom Scroll are removed. This prevents the need to collect the other two items for the next GPQ. I have been informed that there was one guild that abused this to speed up their completion time, which means more points. I will not mention their name as the guild has already 'died' and will no longer be GPQing. (not to mention the person who told me this refuses to provide me with proof because of friendship with members of that guild.) Also in Stage 3 of the GPQ. The mobs 'Black Knight' and 'Myst Knight' drop mesos. They should not drop mesos. Also, when there is anything on the ground in any part of the map other than the 4 pieces used for the combination, the npc will rebuff the player and refuse to 'check' the combination. This include mesos dropped by the mobs, and any items dropped by players. Guild Points do not save properly. I have not completed a GPQ in the past two weeks but from other threads I have seen, the issue is still present. GP seems to be saved properly after completing a GPQ, but the guild board resets at some point during each day. It also resets permanently to a previous point after a server check. Party Leader: as stated in an earlier post, the master/jr. master that began the party quest is the only one who can interact with the NPCs to advance through the GPQ. Even if the leader of the party is changed to another jr.master, the npc will not accept them. The issues with the gargoyles and devils slimes mentioned in the first post of this thread no longer exist. If anyone can add on to this list, please do so.
Just replying to this bit at the moment, since it is probably the most important issue, but I am unable to replicate the losing GP problem on the test server, I have also in the last server check added a small change which wasn't documented which might solve the problem. So I'd like to know if this is still happening if possible.
It has now been over 24 hours since my last GPQ and at this time both the guild info tab and the rock showing all guilds shows the correct amount of GP. It seems the daily gp reset will not happen. All thats left now is to see whether anything changes after a server check.
Fixing most of these for next server check. Only issues are: Regarding the issue about only the GPQ Leader can speak to NPC's, and how you can't change the GPQ leader during the PQ; I have a feeling that because there can be multiple party's that there should only ever be one leader anyway and that you shouldn't be able to change who it is. However, I am correcting the text in the NPC's to refer to the GPQ leader rather than Party leader. The other problem is about other drops being on the floor for stage 3, that is a hard one to fix too, but we are easily able to stop the Mesos from dropping which should help. Glad to hear that, fingers crossed for next SC.
I too figured that it would make sense not to be able to change the gpq leader due to multiple parties and what not. I only mentioned it because other players wanted to be able to change leaders. The stage 3 one is also trivial as any extra drops can just be picked up to move on. I should also mention that all the mobs in gpq drop mesos when they should not. I did not mention this because it is fairly insignificant but if it's easy to change... The mobs include myst knight, black knight, devil slime, and gargoyle.
And that happened before there was even a server reset? Does it seem that it changes back after a certain amount of time? That is weird...
As you can see in the picture, the guild rock changes back to an old amount of GP, but the guild tab does not. At this point if the guild earns any more GP, both the guild tab and rock are both updated to the proper amount. After some time, the rock will revert back. The guild info tab will not. What happens after a server check is that BOTH revert to some previous point.
Okay, I think I see what the problem is, adding another attempt of a fix soon. Edit: It probably changed back if you set a new guild notice, or changed logo, guild size, etc...
