Hey guys, I'm Chance (the forum nick was taken so I used full name instead) from Singapore, currently a full-time student and just recently turned 20.

It's been awhile since i last played Maple; I rarely play any game these days as I spent most of my time either watching TV Series, Movies or do some writing. Other interests include Acting, Dancing, Singing and Instruments (Piano, and hopefully Guitar).

I've had a rather long history with Maplestory (in general), i'll just place them in spoilers to avoid making this intro seem too long

I started out in the official server (MapleSEA in Singapore) back in 2005 when there were only 2 worlds, Aquila and Bootes. I played in Bootes until Cassiopeia came in shortly after, and then later moved to Delphinus when it was released and stayed there for my main account. I've only got up till Level 140+ (Bishop, XZFlash) and 130+ (Night Lord, XZNightLord) in the official servers before quitting sometime during 2008 and moving on to private servers.

First private server I joined was AncientMS in 2008, highlight there was probably leading a guild of about 250 players.

I can't exactly recall what happened to Ancient but it went down by 2009 and unfortunately, I had to move on to another server. I think it revived a few years later but I wasn't playing then anymore.

I then moved on to Celino Online (also known as CelinoSEA) which was one of the longer lasting servers, from early 2009 to late 2011 and the best memories were made there, amazing community and staff. Ign there was XZNightLord

I remember making this collage back in 2010 Great times.

However unfortunately the server eventually went down as well.

I did spend some time in ExtaliaMS, its sister-server while it was was brand new back then, but left as it had too much bug issues. Needless to say i was pleasantly surprised to return and see its currently #1 on gtop100.

Anyways, moving on. Ever since Celino went down I kinda stopped playing Maple altogether and took a break for like a couple years. I returned early 2013, playing on a few different servers (Imperial, Oracle, Spooky, Vicious, Xeno) but for some reason every time I moved to a new server they eventually shut down shortly after. After only a couple months of playing i decided it's time i stopped. That's when I felt like it was the end of the road for me when it comes to Maplestory.

Eventually, late 2013 I got really curious as to how the official Maple was progressing that i decided to do some research just to catch up with the contents, and realized the game has changed significantly in such a short period of time. The UI changed beyond recognition and simply put, i felt foreign to the game I once played. I tried finding for older versions of private servers but couldn't really find anything worth investing my time into (fearing that it'll shut down again eventually).

Today, late 2014, just as i was browsing through gtop100 randomly, this server stood out to me. It gave the nostalgic feeling (it is v62 after all) and it looks like there's an amazing community as well. Something tells me this server is going to be here for awhile (not shut down as soon as i join that is) and I just feel affinity for this community here, even though I've yet to be a part of it. So yeah, that's how i got here right now.

The one thing i love best about any server is its community, i'm a forum/guild person and I enjoy interacting with other players so, you'll see me often here. It has been awhile since i last played Maple though, so I may be asking some silly questions about the game if I run into an obstacle of some sorts.

Anyways apart from Maple, the only other game i'm currently active in is Brave Frontier (mobile-game). I noticed that the forum here is exactly the same as the Brave Frontier Forum i'm part of (in terms of layout, template, features), which is kinda cool as i love this template.

I'll end my intro here. Not sure if anyone would actually read the entire post (including spoilers), but well hoping to find some friends online for a start. I've just created a new character (Ign: ChristopherC) to become a Bishop eventually.
