IGN: ElsaOrThor Problem: DC when login to a specific character. Details: Whenever I login to my character ElsaOrThor, I am unable to change maps, talk or add my ap/sp. I eventually get disconnected to the login page after about ~5s with the error message, "Unable to connect to game server. Please try again later." This started occurring ever since I DC-ed from the FM a few nights ago. I am still able to login to my other characters in the same account as per normal. I am also able to access 'ElsaOrThor' using my friend's computer. Please advise. Thank you.
Can you try unequipping every possible equip you have on the character and see if you still dc? Including Pet and pet equips.
@sparky95 Unequipped everything using my friend's computer, but I continue to DC using my own computer. @Dave Deviluke Yes I have, to no avail.
Could you test network connection by logging in with your mobile data to check if the disconnect is due to network or account issue?

I encountered this exact weirdness years ago in GMS. I found that the characters I played the most became "cursed" like this on my own internet connection, but would be fine on other connections. My other characters, as long as not played too much, would be fine. I tried absolutely everything, for months, to solve the problem. Nothing worked. The only exception was between 1 AM and 7 AM, it was totally fine. If I logged on before and stayed connected after 7 AM, it'd be fine. If I relogged or CC'ed, that'd start the problem up for the day. The conclusion I drew in the end was that it was some kind of strange packet filtering done by the ISP. Unfortunately, there is not a lot you can do about it if that is the case Long term, switching ISP's fixed it for me. Best thing I can suggest is to find a different connection to play on, possibly your mobile connection.
Based on what Tentomon said, maybe try requesting ISP for a new IP address? Not sure which ISP you using, didn't have this issue when using Singtel and MyRepublic
Damn.. I don't think I have enough mobile data to play Royals consistently. Just logging on to do APQ and manage my store is draining my data pretty quickly. Have switched between both static and dynamic IP addresses, but the problem persisted.
