Notice Server Check 22/10/14

    Hi Everyone,

    There will be a server check at 21:00 server time (GMT+1) lasting approximately 5 minutes.

    Changes during this server check:
    • GPQ:
      • Guild Points are fixed.
      • GPQ mobs no longer drop Mesos.
      • 'Protector Rock', 'Spoiled Food' and 'Jr. Necki Drink - 700 Yrs Old' now get removed after each GPQ.
      • Corrected some confusing NPC text in GPQ.
      • 6 Players are now required to be able to do GPQ.
    • Papulatus:
      • You can no longer enter Papulatus without the Ludibrium Medal
      • Papulatus now drops Papulatus Certificate at 100% rate.
    • Fixed a small issue with Horntail drops for incorrect ID's for Elixirs and Power Elixirs causing gaps in drops.
    • Zakum squads that have been abandoned now get removed.
    • Pet names get saved after using Pet Name Tag.
    • Divorce option has been added to High Priest John.
    • Amos The Strong now lets players leave the Entrance to the Amorian Challenge.

    Before a flood of "ludibrium medal won't drop" comes in, I'll say it took me (iirc) around 50 kills to find one, which feels like a lot when only 2 mobs spawn in the map at a time.

    Love the GPQ fixes though! My guild has completed a couple before, and we cri evertim when the points reset.

    I've done the Pap quest twice and it only took me about 5 kills to get the medal, each. If you just CC after you kill them , if it doesnt drop, it's not so bad.

    From what i know they spawn all the time and there are 2 sides so even if it wasn't 100% drop it would still be quick.
    Btw it took me 2 mobs getting it the first time and 6-8 times second time you must be unlucky.

    What is meant by guild points are fixed? Is this the reason for the roll back?

    The issue you guys reported of GP not being saved properly to the DB has been fixed.

    I'm sure you guys got it, but GP was being saved. The board would just revert back to displaying old GP (sometimes after only 5 minutes following gpq finish, other times did not roll back at all. (would get fixed by completing another stage to update the GP count)) but the real GP in the guild overview remained real, and survived server restarts.
