In this guide, I'll be covering the most sought after various iTCG items and iTCG manuals that are only available through Gachapon For the iTCG items, most of them are rather useless. I'll only be giving the locations for the ones that are recommended to keep. In order to craft these items, you'll need the manual of the item you're planning on crafting as well as the ingredients listed down below. Once you have all that, talk to the Glimmerman who is convientely located very close to the New Leaf City Gachapon Among the most expensive items in this server are the iTCG items. There aren't too many that are used because unlike GMS, manuals are obtained through Gachapon only. This causes the raw materials for making the iTCG equipment to be very expensive. Here is the comprehensive list and useage for each iTCG item: Black Versal Material Price: 275M Used in: Crystal Ilbi Throwing-Stars, Crystal Leaf Earrings, Facestompers, Stormcaster Gloves Obtained in: Nautilus Harbor, Singapore: CBD and Sleepywood Crystal Shards Price: 25M Used in: Crystal Ilbi Throwing-Stars, Crystal Leaf Earrings, Dark Shards, Facestompers, Stormcaster Gloves, Winkel Obtained in: Showa, Mushroom Shrine, New Leaf City, Singapore CBD, etc. (Unclear if all Gachapons have Crystal Shards) Pharoah's Wrappings Price: 5M Used in: Facestompers, Tiger's Fang Obtained in: Showa, New Leaf City Lefay Jewel Price: 3M Used in: Glitter Gloves, Infinity Circlet, Neva, Sirius Cloak Obtained in: Showa, Mushroom Shrine, Sleepywood Stone Tiger Head Price: Worthless Used in: Tiger's Fang Obtained in: Showa Typhon Crest Price: Worthless Used in: Zeta Cape Obtained in: New Leaf City, Mushroom Shrine The manuals for all of the iTCG equipment cannot be made through normal GMS means. All of the manuals can and only be obtained through the New Leaf City Gachapon (Vending Machine) shown in this picture: Facestompers (Level 50) 2 Weapon Attack ~ 5 Slots Considered the best Shoes in game for DPS characters. Price is compared to the going price for a Black Versal Materials, but it's quick volatile. The main reason why Steel Plates are expensive is because to make a pair of Facestompers, you need 50. Facestompers are also one of the contributing factors on why Crystal Shards and Black Versal Materials are so expensive (35M/175M during the time writing this guide). People usually Chaos Scroll these much like they do with Pink Adventurer/Gaia Capes so a well scrolled Facestomper is far and few between not to mention extremely expensive. Required Items: Spoiler 1 Facestomper Forging Manual 50 Steel Plates 3 Pharoah's Wrappings 1 Black Versal Material Stormcaster Gloves (Level 50) 5 Weapon Attack ~ 5 Slots With the added 5 Weapon Attack already implemented, end game Gloves don't come much better than Stormcaster Gloves. Only problem is that they're quite expensive and much like Facestompers, the price is determined by the price of Black Versal Material. Many people consider a decent 15 Weapon Attack Stormcaster Gloves to be good enough to carry you through the entire game which isn't too hard to make and pass 5 60%. Required Items: Spoiler Stormcaster Gloves Forging Manual 5 Power Crystals 3 Crystal Shards 1 Black Versal Material Crystal Leaf Earring (Level 40) 3 Magic Attack ~ 6 Slots Crystal Leaf Earrings are the only earrings that have 6 slots. Not only that, they also come with a nice 3 Magic Attack clean making this the best potential earring for every class. These earrings don't come cheap as the manual is quite hard to obtain considering the odds. Earring scrolls aren't too exciting to scroll either i.e. no Weapon Attack and mages can live without the slight increase in Magic Attack (Fallen Leaf Earrings can come 6-7 Magic Attack clean). Nonetheless, if you want to be a super try hard, these are for you. Much like the other iTCG equipment above, Crystal Leaf Earrings can be very pricey and reliant on the price of Black Versal Materials. Required Items: Spoiler Crystal Leaf Forging Manual 5 Wisdom Crystals 2 Crystal Shards 1 Black Versal Material Crystal Ilbi Throwing-Stars (Level 50) +29 Weapon Attack The best throwing-star in the game comes in the form of an extremely overpriced and blue version of the regular Ilbi Throwing-Star. Because the materials to make this star is quite expensive, it's best to stick with regular Ilbi Throwing-Stars for a while before even considering moving on to Crystal Ilbi Throwing-Stars as your main star. Required Items: Spoiler Crystal Ilbi Throwing-Star Forging Manual 5 LUK Crystals 3 Crystal Shards 1 Black Versal Material Warning! The rest of the items after this is quite subpar and not worth investing time into making or collecting. If you'd like to make them, I'll just provide the materials as reference and my reasoning for why they aren't recommended to make and alternatives to these equipment. Sirius Cloak (Level 50) +2 Str/+2 Dex ~ 5 Slots Sure it's a clean cape with some stats thrown in, but you can easily replicate this using a Yellow Adventurer Cape with some halfway decent luck on 60% or even 30% for an even better cape. Most end game capes are the Pink/Purple variety so there's no reason to really consider making this cape. Plus, the materials are kind of a pain to gather. Required Items: Spoiler Sirius Cloak Forging Manual 1 Lefay Jewel 5 Gold Plates 5 Mithril Plates Glitter Gloves (Level 50) +2 Int/+200 MP~ 5 Slots You may think to yourself why I put this under the subpar disclaimer and that's because not only does it insult you with a Level 50 requirement, but Yellow Work Gloves/Red Markers can have equal if not better stats, they have a lower level requirement and MP isn't something you need anyway. Making this will probably make you lose money in the long run due to time collecting supplies and overall cost of materials. On the bright side, it is shiny when you wear them. Required Items: Spoiler Glitter Gloves Forging Manual 3 Lefay Jewels 10 Diamonds 5 Wisdom Crystals Infinity Circlet (Level 50) +3 Int/+3 Luk ~ 8 Slots You're better off scrolling a Green Bandana with Int than trying to work for this hat. Like Glitter Gloves, this requires Level 50 to wear it whereas the alternatives require as low as 10. Also, LOL TYPO. Required Items: Spoiler Infinity Circlet Forging Manual 1 Lefay Jewel 5 Diamonds 3 Wisdom Crystals Antellion Miter (Level 35) +20 HP/MP and Def/M.Def ~ 7 Slots Unless you're making this for looks, stay clear away from these. You might think that the HP is worth the hassle, but a Ribboned Pig Bandana gives 50 HP and has a lower level requirement. Required Items: Spoiler Antellion Miter Forging Manual 5 Gold Plates 5 Steel Plates 20 Screws Black Phoenix Shield (Level 20) +20 Def/M.Def ~ 7 Slots Looks really nice. Too bad it's absolutely terrible. You're better off with a Maple Shield which has more slots or even a Panlid/Stolen Fence. Get it for looks, but the Mithril Plate requirement is pretty steep. Required Items: Spoiler Black Phoenix Shield Forging Manual 10 Mithril Plates 2 Sapphires 1 Dark Crystal Ore Dark Shards (Level 60) +3 Def/+37 M.Def ~ 5 Slots This requires a Crystal Shard. I repeat, a item that's worth 35M-40M is required to make something that is worth only it's NPC price. Not only do you need Crystal Shards to make this, YOU NEED 2 CRYSTAL SHARDS. Need I say more? ANY EARRING is better than MAKING these. In the words of AVGN, "What were they thinking?!". Earrings don't show up very well on a character anyway... Required Items: Spoiler Dark Shard Forging Manual 3 Black Crystals 2 Crystal Shards 1 Lidium Tiger's Fang (Level 50) +72 Weapon Attack/(Fast 5) ~ 7 Slots Looks really nice, like most iTCG items. Shame it's pretty bad and gets outclassed by other weapons. 2H Swords were never too popular anyway since Scroll for Shield Weapon Attack exists. This is the only iTCG weapon that requires a Tiger Stone Head which is why it's completely worthless. Also, the Power Crystal requirement is very steep and save your Pharoah's Wrapping for Facestompers. Required Items: Spoiler Tiger's Fang Forging Manual 5 Power Crystals 1 Stone Tiger Head 1 Pharoah's Wrapping Winkel (Level 55) +65 Weapon Attack/(Fast 5) ~ 7 Slots Crystal Shard alert! Even though this requires no Str to wear and is even a Fast Speed Bow, that doesn't warrant the price when a Level 43 Maple Bow is relatively common and can even go beyond that weapon attack. Also, 20 Silver Plates? This Bow requires the most plates and screws out of every iTCG equipment AND a Crystal Shard. No. Required Items: Spoiler Winkel Forging Manual 50 Screws 20 Silver Plates 1 Crystal Shard Zeta Cape (Level 60) +19 Def/+24 M.Def ~ 5 Slots Much like the Dark Shards, this is absolutely useless. This cape requires a Typhon Crest which is the Typhon Crest's only use. Look to the Sirius Cape suggestions if you want to find an alternative unless you're an avid iTCG collector. Required Items Spoiler Zeta Cape Forging Manual 10 Garnet 1 Typhon Crest 1 Black Crystal Neva (Level 50) +30 Weapon Attack (Fast 4) ~ 7 Slots Steep cost with an alternative that's much easier to obtain and cheaper. Not much more needs to be said. Go for a Maple Kandayo instead. Required Items: Spoiler Neva Forging Manual 1 Lefay Jewel 5 Lidium 5 LUK Crystal
If I'm correct, Zeta Capes are level 0 capes, wich could be good to get some mp early and wash it later. I've never seen one in the market, but they're not that bad.
Does anyone know the real stats on the Winkel? A friend told me it's 80 attack and 10 slots, but that sounds too good.
The main use for Infinity Circlet is, imo, mages who can't complete ZJQ to get a Zhelm (yesssss, me!) but who want a little bit of extra free luk from equips in order to be able to wear mage items that have a luk requirement - for example, low level mage shoes and overalls. tl;dr: I might be the only person who uses them, lol!
You're more than welcome to use such an item, but in my opinion, you'll save time and money scrolling a Green Bandana with Int rather than going out of your way to collect the items needed to craft it.
We will have to agree to disagree on that one. =) Btw, it's 8 slots not 7, so I hope you don't mind that I corrected that in your post! Anyway, great guide!
Thanks, Randy. I've tried going to Sleepywood for a Gachapon run, but I got absolutely nothing good. Perhaps this will change my opinion next time around.
Updated prices on certain materials Black Versal Material at 200m Crystal Shard at 25m Pharaoh's Wrapping at 5m
How do you actually make these things though? People have been telling me you can't get the "Maker" skill because Magatia is blocked.
