Hi sorry for ninjaing but I'll just clarify to avoid the confusion. It doesn't actually cost 2 resets for 1 wash. It costs 1 (to -mp and +hp, per wash). The reason why Pheelo says it costs 2 resets, is because initially you have to add 1 point to HP in order to start the washing chain. So the 2nd reset is actually to remove that 1 starting point in HP back into the original stat. Hope this makes things clearer!
I really don't know why I'm so bad at explaning, but what your saying is true, that would work just fine. Absolutely NOT, I didn't do my research, but I have now, and turns out it does actually work, it doesn't even have to be your own maple warrior. I'll just start making those videos immediately, because I suck at explaining. UPDATE: Video is recorded, just need to upload it to youtube!
Have stickied it again - I feel that a guide like this which is useful to the majority of the job classes, which is very well thought out and contains a lot of good information should be somewhere easy to find.
Some things on the guide got my attention. You mention at some point, that you can just use an ap reset, remove the ap from mp and add it back on hp. That is right, but if I recall correctly, you would gain less hp per ap add that way. Well for mage I'm definatly sure, you get the minimum each time rather than the random factor, wich allow you to get more hp per ap. edit : I saw you specify it in the later post, maybe you could add next to this Important note: You can just keep reusing the same 1 AP, adding it to HP, then taking it out of MP and repeat until you reach minimum MP (warning, you would get less hp per ap that way) Also, you mention mage loose 90mp, well that isn't correct if it work like GMS in v0.62. The mp lost for a mage is base on the total int. So a mage would loose less mp if he remove all his int bonus before removing an ap from mp. That how mp wash work for mage, make sur to have the most int bonus, add ap into mp, than remove all the int bonus and remove that ap from mp. Not like alot of people would care, but if a mage is intesresting at reaching over 10k hp and still have good mp, that is something he could look at. Yeah it should affect it, as it affect your total int.
I have a question, i want to create a warrior. It is really necessary that i have to use an AP Reset Scroll when i level to lvl 2..3..4.. etc? Or im wrong? What is the best level to start using AP Reset scrolls to change my MP to HP?
It's not necessary to HP wash a warrior at all. It's convenient to HP was a DK, so that your berserk HP cap will be higher, but again it is not necessary. The level you start converting your spare MP into HP is not important - you can do it whenever you have the money, or whenever you need more HP to start killing a new boss or something. You do not need to use resets when you level at low levels. The resets are for converting MP into HP. At low levels you just need to have INT (either through base or equips) to store up extra MP so that you can convert it into HP at a later time if you wish to do so. Again, there is no NEED to hp wash on a warrior.
Ok, i want to create a DK.. some guys told me that from lvl 1 to 5-6 i should raise my INT, getting a BASE INT of 25-30.. What do you think? Or INT equips are good enough for HP Wash? Other question, as a warrior do you think i should use the AP Scrolls ASAP?, because of the "Improving Max HP Increase" Skill. Thanks for your time.
Do brawlers benefit greatly from hp washing - say, in comparison to night lords? Making a brawler and not sure if I should add any base int to wash out later or not. If yes, how much int is good enough? It won't be a character for bossing really other than maybe Bigfoot, for now it's mostly for fun. Is it even needed?
Of course we benefit. We have an improving max HP skill, like warriors. 350 int got mine to 18300 at level 138, fully washed out (like 250 resets so far). If I had to do it again, I'd have gone for 500 int. I really wanted 30k hp but it won't be possible. You will need to wash to tank bf, but not much. From the pre-bb screenshots/videos I've seen, you'd have about 10k hp at 160 unwashed.
So I have around 100 Int in equipments starting at level 20. Would I still need some base Int to wash a 30k HP Hero?
I made an hp wash calculator, for those of you that are interested: http://www.royals.ms/forum/threads/so-i-made-an-hp-wash-calculator.14061/
I think you've got some typos or copy-paste errors in the min MP and min HP formulas. Are these min values from the code, or just a different guide? Spoiler Info from top: Section H:
Can anyone confirm the hp needed for horntail? On the other horntail thread it's listed as 5.6k hp clean. Using the minimum hp formula, a nightlord would never reach that amount normally even after reaching the cap. (200x20) +378 = 4748 or listed on this thread HT's magical damage is 7800. even with hb you wouldnt reach that amount no matter the level. What I'm trying to say is, theres no way for an assasin to horntail without hp washing ?
the min HP formula doesn't reflect the HP you'll actually end up with. You have a bit more than that. You'll wind up with your 5.6k (which gets you enough with HB) in your mid to late 180s on a NL. In order to HT when you hit leech level you'll need to do some minor washing - maybe 30-40 washes total. You can get that much even without adding base or serious int equips. Just get a zhelm and dep star ASAP. Maybe a 6 int wand and 10 int cape if you're feeling super serious about washing.
Ah okay. that makes sense. I'm guessing this guide is wrong then? http://forums.playpark.net/index.ph...ntail-hp-washing-for-nightlords/page__st__300 It states you would only reach 4815 hp at lvl 198 without washing. Which seems rather low to me. Anyway, would 50 total int starting from lvl 50-ish be enough?
