How do you open shops in tight spaces?

Stores titled "cheap" and "Shmoney dance." (mine) were already there. The other 2 were opened later. Nowhere else in the FM have I seen shops overlapping. What's their secret?

 

It was probably most likely done during the shops resetting, they all just shared the area.

 

Edit: Shop closed and was unable to reopen.

 

Sounds like glitch abuse to me.

 

No, I've seen the same handful of people take spots an hour or more after resets that should have been too small to open in. Including spots that looked borderline big enough that I've attempted to open in and been unable to. There's a way to open in spots that should be too small.

I've also opened shops, then gone back in to put up a full inventory and set prices, etc - a 20+ minute process, with no one else around, then had people come back overlapping like this hours later, and been unable to fit my own shop when I tried to close and reopen.

 

God forbid someone does to you what you did to me...lol. :rollseyes:

 

I'm so happy I can finally punish fat people that don't know how to share space. A secret I will not share.

 

If you didn't notice, that last ss we were talking about moving my spot because the mid left spot was open and no one took it
( even tho there were ppl standing over it) . If I left my spot I could lose my fm spot from top right. Why are you asking how I put my fm spot there when it was up since yesterday? If you asked me to allow you to reopen I wouldn't mind honestly. I mean you could have talked to me on islanders or through royals messaging as I asked you something before.

 

What? lol. I have no idea who you are. I just made this thread because I was genuinely curious how it's done and needed to know if I were to have a chance at keeping my spot. As you can see, it's in the "help" section.

Nobody answered, so I went back to the game to try anyway and see people laughing at me while I jump around like an idiot, obviously unaware of your super secret method of opening them in impossible places.

Manslut had since moved his/her/its shop to the left--ironically, doing the exact opposite of "sharing space"--instead, squeezing me (or anyone) out of my spot.

I ain't even mad tho. That's the first and last time I'll try for FM1. Not a fan of the shit people pull there.

 

Yes the screenshots definitely "helped". Welp, no recognition I feel like an idiot too, don't feel bad there.
