I've been searching off/on around my house now thinking I left these back at the apartment 2 years ago, but I found a garbage bag hidden away with all of my old shirts! Spoiler: demon cat Spoiler: little timmy Spoiler: friday the 13th Spoiler: jesus wearing sunglasses with T-rexes in space Spoiler: mercy
Car guy here :3 I was recently looking at getting a 350z, but the fuel costs put me off too much lol but damn the noise they make
Last week, I went to an opera audition and got accepted immediately. During the audition, they stop me after a few measures of my solo and start discussing where to place me. Yay.
I went from drinking all day, everyday to drinking 1-2 times every couple weeks starting on September 1. Since then, I've incorporated healthy eating habits and with my active job I have lost close to 20 pounds. I'm in my final year of college and I'm doing better at saving money. Everything is coming together, just need to get the social side of my life back on track. The biggest difficulty in changing your habits, your lifestyle, and just your overall personality is that it takes time to change, but it takes even more time for people to realize and accept the change. I think it may even take awhile for even yourself to accept the change. So that's my next challenge, but I'm proud of what I've done, and more importantly I love the way it has made me feel. Love you guys!
i started dating some girl one month ago... she is from china and can't speak english well so every time we meet for a date, we have to use google translate to talk
I started June 2019 at 263 lbs. In September, I weighed 238 lbs. October 8 when I made my last post, I was around 215-220lbs. On November 1st, I weighed 200lbs, to today, November 25, 185 lbs. I'm going to the gym 3-5x a week along with working a physically demanding job, managing my protein to build muscle, and just feel really good. Having so much more energy and feeling good about yourself are the obvious benefits of weight (fat) loss, but seeing the hidden benefits such as being treated better by society and such are so great too. I hope everyone is doing well in life, and if not, I know you can be once you set your mind and heart to it. I love each and every one of you so much, together we can all be great!
I became my friend's, whom I have known since I was 9, brother in law. He's also fucking my sister god damn it.
My 32 year old cousin recently got married! So excited for him and his new wife. Don't know if this counts as IRL, but I need 20 more Pokemon in Pokemon Sword version until I get the Shiny Charm!
I submitted some art I made to AGDQ as a prize to help raise money for the event and it was accepted (tho in hindsight they might take whatever is submitted). Hoping whoever gets it likes it- it's supposed to be framed and it's listed as such but it's not so sorry about that!
I made my first big "adult purchase" today and bought a brand new gas stove! My old stovetop barely worked and the oven didn't work at all. This new one has 4 burners, a huge oven, and it's so much newer and nicer looking. I had my friend Kevin help me move it and install it with me (big shoutout to him although he'll never see this, thank you so much). I never thought I'd be this excited over a stove but I cannot wait to make dinner on this tonight.
After 5 years of university, and switching from pharmacy to accounting, I finally graduated and got my degree. Now time to start working towards my CPA designation!
Nearly 5 months ago I started demolishing my pink-tiled 50s bathroom down to the studs using a sledgehammer, as well as removing the entire concrete floor, toilet, sink, and tub. A large section of the sub-floor had to be replaced due to dry rot, and from there the entire bathroom was rebuilt from scratch. The last of the tiles just went in yesterday, and once the sink goes in sometime this weekend, it'll finally be done.
got my bachelors degree in physical engineering, but i don't know if that's the actual accomplishment since i am more excited about the graduation gift my lovely wife made me . public transportation is extremely unreliable and expensive in germany, thus im quite happy about this .
Finally set up my drums at my new house! I turned one of my spare bedrooms into a dedicated drum/music room where I'll be able to record drums, guitar, keyboard, vocals, and whatever else. Next I'm gonna set up my desk, PC, and mixer so I have a workstation for making music. I'm gonna set up 4 mics for my drums using an old school micing technique called the Glyn Johns Method. Once that's all set up I'll get to work on making more drum covers, as well as original stuff. I have a Lumix G7 4K camera that I've been dying to test out in order to produce better quality footage than what I was getting from my old Zoom Q3 camcorders. Both the sound and video quality are going to be exponentially better than my previous drum covers. I'm excited!
Home-gym almost done to compensate for quarantine. Still want get a leg press and/or hack-squat and maybe a pair of 100lb dumbbells.
