Hello, I thought about it lately after got banned for three days for ksing someone i was argued with. I understand that after third time minor offence such as looting or ksing someone you get permanent ban. but if you get banned one time, even if your'e behave perfect for years after, will your account be always one who got 1 ban and have 2 chances left? Can it ever be reset and gain back 3 times opportunities? I mean it like every new account have "3 game life" so after you getting first ban will your account be forever with 2 left even if your'e acting perfectly for a long time? will you get perm banned at the third time even if the minor offence such as looting happened after long years of well behavior? I want suggest a "reset" for such cases of minor abuse because people make mistakes.. for example if someone hasnt done anything wrong for 1 year so his ban count can be reset because if not it'll be really harsh to play in an account which i know have only "2 life" left or worse than it "1 life left".. I'm not talking about hacking or real money issues of course but about minor things such as loot, ks and etc... Because now after my first ban, I'm afraid that I'll always have only 2 chances left without way to achieve the third chance again not matter what I do. Is there anyway I can achieve my third chance back and having like "fresh" account? I'll be happy to do anything I can to help it happen
If you act perfectly you will never reach the 2nd, or 3rd ban. You don't get banned for no reason. Not sure why you opened it in Staff Aplications though. I will move it to the feedback section.
The problem with having reset offense counts is that people will, and indeed have, taken advantage of the system to continue being toxic and unpleasant for months and months while being careful to take advantage of the system so they never get permanently banned for their behavior. While I understand the concern that you have one more chance until you get permanently banned for harassment, just be a decent, nice person. Don't think I've ever gotten a harassment charge against me and I've been here four years. Read the rules, listen to people so when they tell you to stop, you actually stop, and just don't be an asshole. Nobody likes assholes.
yeah i understand it but still feel bad having 1/3 in this account. and about the section, I'm not that professional in forums, sorry, not use it so much haha
Hey, Well I guess everything have expections. if someone keep doing bad things in purpose and abuse the system it one thing, but I'm talking about situations and may occur and mistakes people make out of situations. I think It's very harsh to have my account stained forever.. I even think about replacing my ban for 6 months ban request instead of my current harrasment ban to remove the saint and make my account fresh again.. such thing make me want to open a new account to be "fresh and clean" again with 0/3 strikes..
That's sort of the point- if you didn't feel bad about it, the punishment would be meaningless and you'd have no reason to stop doing it.
Well, believe me I won't be happy being banned for 6 months but It'll make me feel better for having tougher and longer ban but feel that my account is "clean" again.. I ask for a much harder punishment to switch with the one I got because I prefer be banned for long time than being able to play but sainted for all time.
My two cents: Serve your ban, it’s not permanent. In the meantime, think about why you got banned. Resolve to improve your behavior as a player, respecting the rules of the game/server. Whenever it’s due, come back to the game. You’ve been given a new chance, yay! It’s really that simple.
I would strongly suggest that you go over the T&C again. A ban is given for you as a player, not as a character. Meaning if you got banned for harassment on your NL(example), and you create a new account and once again harass people, you will serve a ban for a 2nd offence. Try to follow Neku's advice, it's quite simple NOT to harass/ks people.
