How to Horntail without graphical glitches closing your client

That error code is not really do with VMware, it's just due to refresh rate of your monitor.

and it is also so popular one that there are already many posts on how to solve that error.

Then it's the same error that i uploaded a solution above: you have to change your screen refresh rate to 60 hz.

If it doesn't work try 60.1 hz, 60.2 hz, 60.3 hz .... --> due to round-off error

 

im guessing your vmware tools isnt installed, which i have answered this question for about 1000 people now it feels like lol

follow this thread https://royals.ms/forum/threads/vm-ware-issue.145263/#post-858129 , in there i post a link to another iso you need to download , and then follow the steps we suggested to the guy at the end, it will fix that error code.

 

FYI, if you are having "2147467259 (Unspecified Error)" issue

Start VM(b4 opening Windows) -> go to Manage -> VM Settings -> Display ->
1. check "Accelerate 3D graphics"
2. check "Specify monitor settings" with Max resolution of 800x600

that's how I fixed mine

 

Just got to use VMware! it's working!! however sometimes when i change map or change to another channel, it would lag and remain black screen for couple of minutes and then stop responding. The sound of the games gets delayed and disorientated. Any idea how can i tackle this problem? Currently im using windowns 10 and the Vmware im using is window xp

 

whenever i fullscreen mode royals, its just like windowed mode (800x600) and black edges,
anyone have any idea how to get rid of the black edeges while on fullscreen mode?

 

have read through comments, see everyone saying to install firefox, but I can't install it without IE? google works on IE but it won't load any page after showing google results, including for firefox.

 

im having a bit of trouble with the client when i open my client on my vm there's an error -214767259
any ideas what can i do to over come this error

 

i followed all the steps but when i try to enter to MR the message of "Unable to conect to the loggin server " pops out

 

Any way to avoid this error when launching MapleRoyals?

Edit: Was able to fix this by following https://royals.ms/forum/threads/update-60-client-startup-errors.137658/ (just move dinput8.dll from Royals folder to somewhere on Desktop). However, Royals performance in VMWare is very slow, sometimes freeze/crash when GFXing.

Edit 2: Tried redownloading VMware using version 6.0.4 instead of 6.0.7 and Royals performance is still slow.

 

Anyone knows how to fix mapleroyals not responding on vmware?
tried the vmware player in this guide, , the 6.0.4 version and vmworkstation15 pro(someone in game suggested that),but nothing works.
Gave it like 2GBs of ram, 2 processors, and 40gb of memory.
I am unable to launch royals(not responding).
Spent like 5 hours on it so far and I am not really sure what to do now.

 

microsoft stopped supporting it long ago, use shared folder from the host pc

 

I am trying to figure out how to get VMWare to work, anyways I downloaded the tools ISO file and winxp ISO file and everything boots nice and well, but when I downloaded MapleRoyals, and now I tried to run it
Basically it says "File not responding" on CTRL+ALT+DEL. and I am not sure what went wrong.

EDIT: Appearntly it booted maple, but it took a very long time to load, around 5mins. I am not sure what's up with that. I gave it access to 2cores out of my 12 and 1.5gb ram, maybe I should give it more cores? like 3-4?
But when I do go ahead and try to log on, it goes back to "File not responding" and gives me a black screen that doesn't go away.

try a diff compatibility ^ i have had some friends issue that changed the compabitility and it either screwed them up or it fixed it

 

So what I did, according to a friend and you, I removed compatiblity and it works great now, and runs very fast, altho the movement and frames are sluggish, it seems to work. Does this mean I can run bosses like Krexel and Zakum without the worry of GFXing? Or is that just false hope?
I don't understand the true purpose of VMWare

 

I have the same issue and changing compatibility didn't help.
