Which AMD Graphics card is best to play Royals without GFX problem?

Hi guys, I'm currently running on Nvidia 1660Ti and I heard that Nvidia has problems handling the old game like Maplestory, so I have decided to go AMD to help with the GFX issue.

I would like to get a card that is capable of doing 6+ clients at the same time and supports 4k resolution, does anyone have any recommendation on which model I should go? The current 1660Ti is able to pursuit my need, so I would like to get an AMD card that is similar to 1660Ti.

If anyone has better idea to solve the GFX issue on Nvidia card, please let me know

Edit1: After a few comparason, my current goal is the AMD RX5700/580, is there any owner of this card here in Royals still facing GFX problem?

Edit2: I usually used my laptop(only an i7 CPU core) for bossing and it has no problem even if i don't gfx at all. But due to the poor performance that I can only run max to 3 clients with 20 fps.

Update1:
I received many positive feedbacks from 580 users, hence I bought a new RX580 to replace my Nvidia 1660Ti. Tried to open 8 clients and get about 100fps per client, which is still acceptable.
I will try to do a few buggy boss and test out about the GFX issue.

Update2:
Tried 2 runs zak on AMD card, finally no more body disappearing glitch and very stable.

Update3:
Changed the RX580 to RX5700, and did 2 runs zak with 6 clients each time (so 12 tries), only 1/12 clients had the body3 disappearing glitch, and fixed with only 2 gfx.

Update4:
RX5700 is much not stable compared to RX580 for some reason, the zak b3 issue is quite frequent on 5700. So I suggest not to buy any new amd card for now.

 

I don't think u need a good graphics card to run 6 clients.

I'm using a desktop with Rx580 and Ryzen 2600x CPU. I can run 5+ clients without lag but the resolution is not too high as 2 clients on a vertical plane overlap a bit.

I dced only once or twice from zakum 3rd body when I forgor to GFX. Zak B3 still glitches if I don't gfx.

 

Playing on a gtx 1080 myself, since using VMware i don't have to gfx and i don't dc unless the internet connection dies or a power outtage occurs, which is very rare.

Yea VMware is another option. But in my case, VMware seems to be too laggy(CPU consuming) and buggy(my client on vmware just broke and unplayable), and it's hard to multi-mules and switch window in boss run. Thus I'm avoiding the use of vmware.

 

I don't think Maplestory even uses your Graphics Card, as opposed to processor and RAM. The Graphics Card can just cause some bugs in bossing (Nvidia). I have experience with both brands. Nvidia works fine for everything except bossing, where it can DC even with GFX during bosses. When I had AMD I still had to GFX in bosses but usually doesn't DC.

In my opinion, most users shouldn't choose a GPU for Maplestory when you can try to get VMWare to work or use a laptop with Intel integrated graphics. However, if these options aren't viable for you, and if you are really serious about the game then go for it I guess. As far as which AMD card, I believe all will work in bosses as long as you GFX.

 

Yea, when I play Royals on laptop, my graphics card is 0% load.
