Should a level 14x unwashed Hero start washing in order to participate in late-game bosses (HT and PB)? I'm not very funded but I can work hard to get it done. It it necessary? Is it too late? Thanks.
Its highly recommended & not too late Gather a bunch of int gesrs, HTP and make sure you wear them when leveling.
Strictly speaking, even with absolutely zero HP washing, you can Horntail just fine. And we don't have Pink Bean released as of yet on Royals anyway. You can play the game and boss as you are now, provided you don't do something dumb and walk into Horntail's Head B which would only happen if you're not paying attention. Power Guard and Achilles provide you significant damage reduction anyway, making your survivability even higher. No reason at all that you should HP wash unless you wanted to for the unnecessary extra tankiness or novelty.
Thank you both for the input. Well, your two comments are conflicting, and at this point I'm not very funded and would prefer to invest at better gear rather than washing. The thing is, I do see people talking about not joining unwashed warriors to HT- is it common? Would it be a problem for me? I'd be glad if you could both answer.
Then again, even though I recommend it. but! It's not compulsory. You will have no issues as a Hero participating in Zakum, CWKPQ, and Horntail. Survivability only starts to make a difference when you wish to play as a seduce role in Horntail or to participate in the new boss, Auf Haven (Hits up to ~23.7k) Upgrade gears, save towards a fine Stonetooth, 15wa gloves. Create a sub mage character during your free time for more funding if you're interested! Have a good one!
