MAP MADE SIMPLE Worry not guys, I have mapped out and produced a guide to help the Royals community their way around the most CONFUSING and COMPLEX map in Maple, the Phantom Forest. There are several similar guides that has already been published. However, I feel that those guides are very complicated, confusing and hard to read. I've seen so many players kept using TOWN Scrolls whenever they're done surfing channels when there is NO NEED to do so. (wasting so much time as you would have to walk all the way from Haunted House, climb the Bent Tree, and finally DMG). I've also seen many who ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO IDEA what or where they're going (randomly picking and going into portals without realizing they have been stuck in a loop). So, I've designed my own map which was based on my memory (through thousands of hours slaying Bigfoots), and put it in the big picture. So drop those compass and follow my map, and you will NOT lose your way in the woods again hehe!!! Back in the New Source days in 2017, I've always been hunting Bigfoots as its the ONLY means to earn EXP and level up. I've clocked thousands of hours, walking around Phantom Forest and have already memorized every nook and cranny of the map by heart. The woods is like my very own playground and I will always find my way around the map. (Pardon me if its poorly designed and arranged) I will only cover 80% of the maps in Phantom Forest solely focusing on important objectives (getting to CWKPQ JQ, slaying BFs, HH, and most importantly, efficient paths to take). I wont include unimportant maps in as I think its useless haha! Lets begin with the Legends. Hexagons and Triangles just represents portals of the map. Hexagons with a red cross just means that you don't really need to know it because it leads to GOD-KNOWS where. 1-Way Portal: Portals which DOES NOT send you back to the same location. Once you enter, and you re-enter the same portal, it will lead you to totally different place. 2-Way Portal: Portals which are linked with each other, and you can go back & forth without ending up in another planet. I've divided the map into 2 different sections; LEFT and RIGHT. Hexagon portals are mostly on the LEFT whilst Triangle portals are on the right. The blade-shaped are portals that transports you ACROSS THE CENTRE DIVIDER. STARTING AT THE CENTRE, DMG; There are 3 Twisted Path maps on the LEFT [DMG, L]- From Dead Man's Gorge, take the portal on the L. [FAR L] -From DMG, L, enter the portal on the furthest L side of the map. [Chi Map]- From DMG, L, enter 1 portal on the left which leads you to Crossroad 2 (C2). Re-enter the same portal again. Yes, this was named after me because back then, not many players know of this map. It was somewhat a "secret" map for me, and I would always have all 20 Bfs to myself haha! Conquered this map. Only the OGs would know this map callouts (To my Bf duo/trio ex-partners !!) [PR]- Phantom Road. NPC Lukan will be here. Bottom left portal is FAR L. Bottom right portal is Chi Map. The Star on the map leads you to Evil Rising [ER]. The blade shape leads you to C1, crossing you over to the RIGHT section of the divider. Moving across the divider, there are 2 Twisted Path maps on the RIGHT [DMG, R]- From Dead Man's Gorge, take the portal on the R. [FAR R] -From DMG,R, enter the portal on the furthest R side of the map From the RIGHT section, you can find your way to C1, Forgotten Path [FP] as well as Evil Dead [ED] For C3, I don't usually visit this map often as I don't hunt the HH, so I won't explain much. But for the low-level players, you may find this reliable. To get to the CWKPQ JQ, you need to get to the top of FP. DMG > FAR R > go L and skip 1 portal > L. Jump you way up to the top left portal to get to the JQ. This is my own way of navigating around the woods. Different people may have their own style of remembering for example calling out TP 1, TP 2, TP 4. I wouldnt understand which Twisted Path maps is which. So I came up with the idea of dividing it into 2 sections to make it easier for myself. I've already put whatever I remember into the big picture and I hope that this can help many players out there who are struggling and getting lost. Passing down my knowledge to the newer players, I feel sooo happy when people appreciate your contributions and efforts. Its an awesome feeling!! ^ ^ Leave a feedback below, if there's anything you wanna highlight and criticize. I will make the necessary corrections! Biggest Succaneer, ChiffonAoi, out. *drops mic*
