doing HTPQ prequest beforehand? - Genesis quest prep

    Can I do the HTPQ prequest before 4th job to prepare for getting genesis instead of doing it when getting genesis?

    nope you won't be able to see the life roots that drops in the htpq unless you start the quest

    if it's just the quest to get the dragon elixir?

    Quest give dragon elixit req lvl 80 so I think you can do it before 4th job.

    the whole point for the bishop doing the htpq prequest to loot untradable quest item "life root". In order to do that, you need "Genesis" quest in progress which can be only done after being a bishop. If you are talking about only obtaining the dragon elixer itself to prepare for the htpq then you can do that.
