try removing the compability back to the original one ? some friends were the opposite where they listened to someone who changed the compatibility from the get go and it ruined it for them, so when they changed it back it was fine
yes the hope is that you can boss run without having to GFX or worry of crashing. since i have installed vmware myself, i have only crashed maybe 1-2 times? and have ran MANY MANY MANY bosses with no issues too
Hey good afternoon friends! First day I did HT on this it worked like a dream, unfortunately the second time I experienced heavy lag spikes but only for Pre head A on HT. Which is extremely odd. I'm talking deadlock for 12+ seconds. In terms of game I do GFX for it, even do an extra step and GFX before/after HP bar shows up. I have read all 16 pages of the thread and have tried anything recommended. My main PC is a i9 9900k so with 64 gigs of ram so any threshold is optional. I have to run mapleroyals on compatibility mode Windows 2000. It crashes on any other mode. I read in the thread earlier that windows xp doesn't utilize anything pass 4 gigs of ram so I didn't raise it. Processor I tried from 4-16 and no changes. I don't understand "Utility" but I have it set up where it recognizes 2 monitors using the host setting. Won't work because I need a guest account? Not sure if that is causing the problem. Monitor is at 800x600 with 60 hz. I checked the box as someone suggested it earlier, I have tried both unchecked/checked, no difference. Let me know if there's anything else I can try. It's literally that one spot in HT, otherwise it works flawlessly.
If anyone is still experiencing crashes in HT, I suggest giving my guide a try. This solution has significantly reduced the number of crashes for everyone that has tried, however, it is limited to users who have an Intel processor with integrated graphics and are using an NVIDIA graphics card. https://royals.ms/forum/threa...sing-integrated-graphics-nvidia-intel.174576/ @Tim It may be useful for others to link my guide for option 1 in the "Issue" section if they are looking for an alternative to VMWare or are unable to find success with this workaround. Hope this helps!
