Hey guys, just had a quick thought and see what you guys think. After the new patch was released and with the nerf to mob drops and increase of price to potions (I'm a 9x DK), whats the best way to keep making money for the late game? Personally I enjoy grinding and PVE over bossing. I'm too low level to boss anyways lol. I guess in general Besides gach/selling of APRs, how else should i approach the game to gear up towards the later stages of the game? Since now 1000 honester will cost 8 mil , i know its not much but for my current level it is still quite a bit. I'm currently training at ToT and accomplishing the 999 quests along the way. Also what are your thoughts for people like me who enjoys grinding rather than bossing? How will this patch effect you and your play style? been with mapleroyals for years now, won't stop!
This doesnt really answer the question, I dont mind the drop/meso rates going down, this private server does say 2x drop rate and it was well over that, The potion and stars price rate going up is not gonna help inflation. I think what makes it unhealthy is when people have the mindset to sell leech 10 hours a day like its a job, Genesis 20/30 and MW20 are overpriced while Chaos scrolls went down like crazy. Bishops are gonna sell leech and Elites are still gonna buy their 20bil nx/god weapon. I dont think the over inflation will stop tbh, unless they raised the prices in the meso nx items in FM maybe they might help. My suggestion would be to have the ability to change the resolution as well as the point of view.
I completely get what your saying, but like any other game you can't balance it and satisfy everyone. When a game is balanced around one aspect such as increase in potion prices and lowered drop rate it effects the lower levels more than the higher levels. like when you sell leech 10 hrs a day you can literally make 700 mil to 1 bil a day which a measly phew mil in potion prices won't effect them at all lol. Its just gonna take longer for lower level people or people newer to the game to obtain better gear in the long run if the price of chaos/WS drops too much and drop rate is lowered. They can nerf leeching all they want which will screw over people whom love to grind even more but if they buff grinding than leeching will become OP af. years of being around league/dota you start realizing that balancing the game is a intricate art and you can never satisfy everyone lol.
Personally i prefer bossing over grinding but since you don't want to boss you can farm nependeath honey which sell for like 5m ea. They hit like 1 dmg so you don't have to worry about honsters.
Dafaq i throw the honey away lol, i thought they're ueseles. We really need a updated price list for ECT items and ITCG items.
