For the love of god please fix Ribbon Pig drops. For a 2x drop server they barely drop at all. Combined with the slow respawn rate of pigs on Pig Beach it takes FOREVER to do low level quests since so many need ribbons from Ribbon Pigs please fix.
Pretty much this. A huge majority of low-leveled quests just aren't worth doing because it can take up to an hour (sometimes more, depending on class and level) to get the ribbons for a quest. Some even have pretty novelty cool rewards, but it's not worth it for the time invested in them . Considering the mini-dungeon in Hene's rainforest doesn't drop them, an increase in pigs over at Pig Beach would be ideal too.
As someone who enjoys grinding, grinding for Ribbons is a NIGHTMARE due to the combined low drop rate and infrequent pig respawns in Pig Beach. I mean, hey, I get things like crappy equips to sell off and smegas, but I would also suggest skipping a lot of these quests otherwise. [edit] Also, pig heads. You do actually need those for certain quests as well and they're rarer than pig ribbons. It's pretty ridic.
Oh my god. Don't even get me started on the pig heads. Those things are a nightmare. Any quest that even mentions pig heads at any point is 100% a no-go zone. It's so ridiculous. Some low-leveled quests have awesome exp, but require a heap of pig heads (usually 20-30). Getting ~100 ribbons got me about 2-3 pig heads, if that. Low-leveled quests aren't even worth it. It's such a shame. It turns people off questing because they're impossible. It would be easy to just increase the drop rate of ribbons, heads and the spawn rate a little bit. It's such a shame that pig beach is the only place that can give a 'decent' drop on ribbons, and frankly, it sucks.
