Do you know if the staff here plans on fixing the broken 4th job skills soon? Perhaps they're already working on it and I haven't heard about that yet.
It's not a top priority, no, same as the v86 skill tables. Don't expect it and you'll be pleasantly surprised when they do fix it with their new Developer! Yes.
*Insert skeleton waiting on computer* Ever figure out the DPS for Shadowers using a reasonable amount of mesos?
Well, if you remember our short discussion in the FM ~5 weeks ago... My DPS at Zak was ~90,000? The problem is, the DPS of ME varies A LOT. The minimum damage is half of the maximum damage.
That damage range is the same for all classes, I believe. My Hero can do 34k per line with Brandish, but I've seen a 17k line sometimes.
That's a warrior, they have the shittiest Accuracy of like everything. Bowmen have really stable damage.
@Marty Would a completely blooded Shadower work for pure DPS? I need things to make and do before some of the items that I need come in the market (Optimally scrolled weapons of all sorts).
Another great thing you could add to this guide is how to effectively boss at Zakum, Papulatus and Horntail.
Been spending time at ToT and I will update the training section accordingly tomorrow. It's a very viable training spot, even early on, with the increased spawn.
That's great to hear. It's difficult to find Bigfoots sometimes, so that can be frustrating. At least with ToT it will be reliable at any hour of the day.
I'm looking for some feedback on ToT from lower level people. Bombing at high-level places @ ToT (Oblivion or higher) might be very good for low levels, around LV. 100 ish... The problem is that they hit like a truck. So, feedback would be great!
I only have 1 point into MG and it doesn't run out like it says in the tool tip. It just acts like magic guard would. I only need to refresh it when the time is almost up. So is maxing MG even worth it?
MG doesn't actually run out, but it's limited and can't cover everything at stronger bosses. The description in-game is false, yes. What's also important is that it lasts longer at max level; this is why you don't have to max it ASAP.
I figured out my own dropping technique for a Mac laptop: Copy the number "0000005000" (I think that's what it is, you use this as your meso number). Then, under your Mac's "system preferences" screen, go to "trackpad" and enable the "tap to click" feature. Then, hover your meso dropping window over the place you click to begin dropping mesos (like you show in this guide), and hold down CTRL+V (on my Macbook Pro I actually can't use CMD+V in MapleStory for some reason, only CTRL+V works) while quickly tapping your index and middle finger on the trackpad. I can drop 1 million mesos very quickly doing this, and it improved the time it takes me to kill BFs by about 7 to 10 minutes.
I'll be tracking down percentages on a level 50 Bandit while training so I'll post here with my findings. Any other location you suggest for 51-70? I'll also be posting down Mesos/Hour for each location I train at. I'll be training with Holy Symbol so if you want non-HS rates, just divide the results by 1.2.
