Where should I train from 100 to 120?

Hi all,

I'm a level 101 Outlaw, and I'm struggling to reach 4th job. My friends keep telling me to just leech to 120, but:

A) I'm running low on mesos, so that's not super feasible
B) I actually like grinding, especially because I'm trying to find Monster cards for the Collector titles

Besides logging into to do Richie's Gold quest every hour or so, do ya'll have any ideas about where I might train to 120? Alternatively, how might I make enough mesos to afford the leeches I'll need?

 

Try temple of time or get a skele/petri party

 

Even if I can go to ToT right now, I'm not sure it's a good idea, because my damage is pretty low :/ Range is about 1.2k - 2.5k, so the clear speed would be abysmal. Skeles and petris would probably be even worse.

 

Snipe Jr. Newties? I remember camping there for a bit.

Maybe you can go for himes.. it might be a bit slow later but it's a nice training spot

 

@zoeng I'll give that a shot! I've been playing maplestory for over a decade, and I've never tried sniping newties, but it's something I've seen suggested in guides all over the place.

@Inusama I hate channel surfing for bosses, lol. How is the spawn rate on this server?

@apollosan I'll give that a try too. I still need to grab the Hime monster card set, and I don't mind a slower grind if the spawn rate is good.

 

Jr. Newties = sniping means lower pot costs. Dragon spirit scales that drop for crafting.

Headless Horseman = time consuming and high chance of bumping into other hunters (drama), but decent exp

Himes = decent exp but downside is higher pot costs and not exactly good for ranged class. can use flamethrower to overcome this but that equates to higher pot usage and the blaze capsules need to be recharged. Or alternate between freeze and burst fire. Also have to look out for Black Crow boss that spawns in this map.

I actually gave Himes a shot, and they were pretty good! The exp was alright solo, but I definitely burned through my potions like crazy. Luckily, a friend of mine was leveling a bishop, and he helped me out for a bit, lol.

When I run out of money to leech, I'll probably try newties next.
