Ohh so it isn't a buff to spawn/equip drop rate. Its new equips. Either way, I would've liked somewhat expensive scrolls to farm rather than equips (also to reduce inflation) but that's okay.
The compensation Staff provided for AM is Dukus, not really ToT - despite my personal disappointment (since I don't sell leech). I tested the map out earlier today. The expected TMA for 1hitting Duku seems to be around 1350~1360. The spawn is now amazing and the terrain allows smoother TC than skele. Duku is lvl 115 so 110+ lvls can leech there. They aren't weak to any element so a similar effort of Bishop-1hit-skele will be required from AMs to 1hit Dukus for the end game leech service.
I was also rather disappointed ToT wasn't the focus of the buff considering they made it a lot more convenient to train there but I guess I've got something to aspire to above Petri now. Also based on completely anecdotal experience with guildies it seems the TMA for 100% 1hit is closer to 1350 (1323 is like 99.99% 1hit), though further testing will need to be done. Seems reasonable provided exp/hr and leech rates are slightly better than Skele to reflect the additional effort needed to adequately leech there. All in all, I think the staff did a great job and I look forward to the changes this will bring in time.
I'm happy that most people in this thread are open minded and exploring the positive changes we made like the Duku maps and ToT in contrast to the 'nerfs'. Still waiting for that one person to take up the task to travel around the world to make a 'potion guide' for the best deals with HP and MP % potion calculations etc. now that NLC isnt always the cheapest option anymore! If there's something specific (other than drops/ drop rates) you would like to ask me about a change in patch 65 or 65.1 feel free to tag me in this thread and I'll try my best to answer.
Talking about pots, could the store in ToT sell unagis anytime? I think they are a good HP potion for mages and they are common in other shops too @Tim forgot to tag you as you asked for it Sorry
