Rings (cs and marriage) should be working after next SC. I'm not 100% sure about spouse chat.

 

It's disrespectful to our community, disrespectful to our players because we are maplers.

Maybe we are different than other maplers and players from different servers. We have our law which everyone has to respect. When we go to different servers, we try to follow their rules. We are not trying to set our rules over there. We are just trying to be respectful.

We consider ourselves, like normal, standard maplers, we just marry boys with women, girls with boys ... it comes from the history.

I hope the problem won't ruin our server.

I sincerely hope this is a joke. How would this "problem" ruin our server? If you're against gay marriage then don't get gay married. It is wrong to restrict the rights of others just because you don't agree.

We already know 99% of same-sex marriages on the server would just be made up of straight people pretending to be gay.

However, there's no reason to be against this suggestion. I mean it's just a game and nobody really cared about marriage before this was suggested. It's not even about "laws" or "rights" or politics.

 

Let's use this as a greater reason to implement gay marriage. Let naivety be done with and equal rights be practiced!

On the for real side of things though, I like how a Maplestory private server is more progressive than entire countries. /logic

 

Yeah, I did wonder if it was a parody, after thinking about it for a while, but at first, not recognising the quote, I was stuck on: "Surely there's no way Saki thinks like that??"
