We called it Nostalgic Maplestory server? No we are not. In the old times ppl try to form 5 squad 30 ppl party to take down the strongest boss like Zakum or Horntail. But nowadays ppl in royals tend to go bossing for duo or trio just for better exp and drop split. That's not we did in maplestory when we were children. Even if players try to hold those 30 ppl runs, selfish ppl comes to loot drops, or ppl won't attend bacuse they need to save the limitation for boss. Where can we find those days back? What's the better way to solve this problem? With the latest 65.1 patch, Improvements that will minimise the amount of graphical issues and crashes have been made to the client. Thank for GM! I suggest that GM can hold 30 ppl boss runs, set the rules that no loot, no attack potions, won't effect daily boss run limit...etc. Zak will still be ez for players to hunt it down in like 10 min. Im not against ur idea....but remember....nostalgic doesnt means the exact same.....one thing many ppl wont acept is...we can feel nostalgic but gold days will NEVER come back...just bcs a huge thing about those magical days were...how unaware we are about everything....u cant explore a world u alrdy know ....royals IS a nostalgic server...but is not old school maplestory....and to me thats fine
I dont remember nls having 30k hp either. Remove hp wash and multi client so every class gets balanced instead of this trash nl centric meta. Maybe ppl would need hb and se MAINS on their party. they duo or trio because they have mules, lol. Hypocrite.

Sorry if I didn’t elaborate enough! The concept of GM events with 10B+ rewards being reliant on a having a specific niche skill set (performing the “fitness” JQ) shouldn’t be a thing at all, hence why you see the same players routinely win prizes relative to luck based GM events such as roulette where it is basically a new winner every time. Roulette should be the staple event (given our current options) and JQ should be a once in a blue moon occurrence (if that) while always rotating JQ maps when they do occur. I did HP wash in old time maplestory too, but that waste lots of money. For those ppl who put attention on that stupid 30K HP. Here's the ss of my NL before HB. The main purpose of this Suggestion is that I hope GM can hold some event like killing bosses by lots of players, because we finally won't DC ppl with the latest 65.1 patch.

While I think there could be more variation in the events the gms are hosting I know it takes time and effort and a hell lot of planning to actually implement different and unique events. Your idea sounds like a fun Guild or Buddy list event, But I think for future reference, Perhaps thinking about an event that doesn't exclude anyone (lower levels players/limited amount of participants) would be a healthier suggestion.

The party we hosted was free for all, whoever wanted to join could join, there were no requirements but just to have fun and have a good laugh about it. turns out all lows and high Level came and join the exhibition zakum run
It's really funny because you have no idea wtf you are talking about. When I first did HT runs with moemiao she needed hb. Later she decided to spend a fortune to fix her hp at late levels.

Don't you think people duo or trio zakum because having se mules are allowed? my bad for assuming she reached 18750 with 0 base int, or int gear but my point still applies. Back then you could wash but not 80% of the server did it. I remember that a big ass majority of nls (everyone, basically, let's be honest here, don't try to compare, because most royals nls are washed) needed hb. And also sharp eyes from bowman class. Allowing wash and mules on a server with satured attack pots (apples, since amoria pq is free) is very dangerous, because it allows the strongest attacker jobs to have no flaws. So the ultimate end game goal is to make a washed nl with se mules, and ofc duos zak and trios will happen. If multi client is not allowed (at least on boss maps) this wouldnt happen because the nl to deal their good damage needs party buffs. Fix this, because this is the main problem. Or don't, just dont call yourselves a nostalgic server.
