As someone who doesnt own a mage and want to complete the colector medal i need to say the drop rate of these cards are too low. I dont know anyone who have completed the 400 sets without using a mage to farm cards and even so it takes alot of effort to do it. I know it should be hard as it is the best medal but sometimes it takes 30 min to drop 1 card ( doing on my pally rush killing everything) and you need 5 cards for a set. To get it worse some monsters only spawn on really bad maps or have a low spawn plus area bosses looks like having almost same drop rate of normal monsters, killed over 18 Fausts and didnt drop enough cards to make a set, not all area bosses are easy to find. And peaple will say it will make too easy to get the medal with mages with a better drop rate but itl still will take alot of time to go after these 2000 cards. If not for normal monsters at least rise the drop rate for bosses.
i am marksman, i completed it without mage took me about 300-400 hours total to be honest, the medal is currently the best one in the game, so i think its fine . you have to work for it
I've gotten Legendary Collector on my Nightlord and Master Collector on my Paladin. I'll be honest with you... It's not worth going for the Collector Medals unless you have a mage and/or people helping you with it (unless of course you're a completionist type of player). Most of the people that I've seen get the Medals are mostly Archers/Mages/People that muled Mages for their class. A lot of the Collector people will disagree with me, but some cards do need a slight drop rate increase. Thankfully, the Staff seems to be keeping an eye on them since they buffed Goblin King card drops awhile ago. Just try to ask around to see which mob cards have tedious drop rates to near several hour grind drop rates so you know which to avoid.

Man first post in years and you drop that bomb. He's right though- the cards were designed to be hard to get. If it was easy, there'd be no reason to do it!
its the best medal in game so its not bad that it is hard to get..altought theres some mobs that can use a buff(yes jr boogie, im looking at ya)
