Closed Just returning to the game finding my account has been banned?

I already preface that it was me though, albeit I was quite young then, kind of embarrassing that I had used the false persona name "Jon" online as I was not comfortable in sharing my real personal information online, I mean idk it cannot just be me right?



Edit: Just realised the preface was not under this thread but Gert's profile posts page? 4-5 days ago though...

 

Also if you want to incriminate someone based on conjectures then fine, like I already said, I had used a throwaway email address initially and login infos as I never expected to play on beyond the first week with friends, that is why I had an issue recovering the account genuinely in the first place, I have tried PMing mod Shane and Becca for help but eventually, had to dig up my old laptop to find out the login info and luckily it was there.

 

So what's the verdict? It's been 3 weeks

 

If I may kindly make a suggestion for the "tribunal" of my case:

So it has been 3 weeks and closing towards the 4th soon, and you the interrogators (dear GMs), have yet to discover or provide any concrete proof of my "suspicious activities" as you so loosely put it. Therefore, I would politely request an unban on 3 of my accounts, provided an open ongoing investigation while keeping a close eye on my every activity in the game, anything that would deem "suspicious" to you, feel free to terminate my account again.

To be frank, I really don't believe I have done anything that would be considered as beyond redemption by your standards(been looking at other threads whilst my ongoing ban). At the very least, maybe KSing and insulting people in-game in the past as a consequence of "friendly" banter.

All in all, I truly respect and understand the reluctancy to unban before finding conclusive proofs of my misdoings, and the incorruptible sheer ironclad rules and regulations against individuals who might violate the rules of MapleRoyals.

I even learned a couple of weeks back that you, (the GMs and chat moderators) do not get paid for your relentless work ethics, which frankly is honorable and respectable, albeit I would definitely go out of my own way to provide yall with some kind of compensation at the very least personally.

Regardless of the outcome of this case, I want to say it has been an honor to have played and interacted with so many wonderful people in the community. All the best to you.

Oh you mean on that account, sure. It has a NL, Hero and some kind of mage? I know for sure Hero and NL would be "high level" aka 120++

Stopped playing on NL awhile back though, I think had a zak helm on with no equips though, everything is funnelled to Hero

 

I would definitely say I remember my mother and father's name, maybe lunch 2 days ago. But I wouldn't say I would "definitely" remember a character I made in a fucking video game that I used to play a year ago amongst many other things done lol

Similarly, can't you see the arbitrariness of your measurements of identifying account owner legitimacy? So what If I'm unable to recall my character? Does that immediately nullify and credibility in my ownership? If you can't remember all your middle school teachers, did you REALLY went through that period of your life? I have already said and provided my best efforts to identify ALL (sorry if I'm unable to recall most of them? wtf.) my characters AND I DID, WHICH YOU DID NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ONE BIT. Also what kind of questions are these... Instead of being purposefully vague, could you just give me a concrete conclusion on the final evaluation? It just seems to me like you are trying really REALLY REALLY hard to incriminate me for something you think I supposedly did or did not do based purely on conjecture, which frankly is fucking embarrassing and a waste of time.

It's a shame that I might not be able to play on such an amazing server anymore but fuck me dude, the number of fallacies in your questionings is actually just appalling. I think the burden of proof to ban me here is actually on you no?

The only reason I'm appealing at this point is that I know I haven't done anything incriminating, and based on your reasoning for banning, "suspicious activity" (lmao), please tell me you understand why that is just a complete joke of a rationale. I'm really curious to find out what the fuck is actually going on in your thought process when banning someone with a reason like that, its actually borderline entertaining at this point

this appeal is closed because there is nothing left for us to discuss - there is no chance your ban is going to be lifted. please also take some time off forums to reflect on your toxic behaviour and hopefully thereafter, you'll be able to move on from our server as well
