Since this new boss has gotten a face lift, I was wondering what kind of new drops this boss had. I know of the Almighty Ring, but what about the books. How much can Krexel hit and does it cast any status effects on you? I believe the HP of both phases is a combined 500m total, but I might be wrong. Any information or confirmation is greatly appreciated.
I meant to add this to my guide actually. Krexel has a total of 500mil HP, 250m per eye. Just like at zak you need to gfx after the left eye is killed. Magic damage is no more than 2.5k max, touch damage is upwards of 7k but there's a good range of 'safe' areas before you touch it. I'll add this to my guide in a moment actually. it gives a total of 70mil EXP without HS, and drops - well, we'll let you guys figure the rest out. The original drops are still in there, but a few things have been added.

That's good to hear. I believe Pap was the exclusive boss that drops BR 30. This might make crack pieces go down slightly now.
Nah, BR30's price has dropped so much, people do pap for exp/leaf. I don't believe crack piece prices will change.
I guess the energizer and potential Maple Leaf will keep the price stable. Was Bstep exclusive to any mob before Krexel?

Krexel has always had the same drop table as Pap even in GMS. We just added some new drops to it as well, didn't remove any.
Holy Shield 30. That's a new drop, I believe. You CAN run this boss on a mac without too much issue. GFX after it is summoned, when the left eye is killed, and about halfway throug hthe right eye and you should be good. Also obviously GFX if you start getting black boxes or other weird graphical glitches. Krexel does not cast any status effects. He does weapon/magic cancel but the durations are much shorter than they are in zak and the cancels also seem to be less frequent. He summons wyverns (the grounded kind that do not dispel, not the flying kind) at 30% remaining HP on right eye. Touch dmg is ~7.3k for a warrior. It's 7.6k on my BM. The touch dmg is only on the actual eye, you can touch any other part of the tree just fine. Max I've seen in magic dmg is about 2.6k. In a 6 person party with HS, yellow exp for each eye is about 13m. I'll let you know what white is if I ever get stronk enough to white =p.
With a Holy Shield 30 drop, it's pretty much confirmed that this boss as the exact same book drop as Manon.
