Lvl 7x Priest training spot

Hi guys,

Currently lvl 74 priest.. is it better to train at sophia bedroom or GS2? or should i party up at WS?

I've been training at coolies till now and got sick of it

Appreciate any tips!

 

Do Pirate PQ at Herb Town. It gets mundane but the EXP is decent, you can even do it all the way to level 100 if you wish.

 

What I did was GS6 heal grinding at that level. Then moved to Himes for another round of heal grinding. Have to be careful at Himes though as they 2HKO me and also Black Crow (boss) spawns there. Fastest exp for heal grinding IMHO

 

I search older threads and people were saying pirate PQ exp is low? Which is why i didnt give it a go..

 

Will you suggest GS6 over GS2? Mr anchor is almost 2x the health of slimy. Although i like that im able to hit the mobs on the btm lvl

What lvl do you move on to himes?

 

For me it was decent up until level 85 or so. Perhaps not as fast as active grinding or buying leech, but the level of attention required isn't as heavy, especially as a Priest. That would give you more room to mulitask and do other things on the side.

If you have the time and willingness to grind, go for it! It'd likely be faster for the higher levels.

 

It really depends. Some people like the 1 - 2HKO type of grinding and might prefer GS2 over GS6. To be honest, I went from MP3 to GS6 heal grinding without the rest of the Ghost Ship maps. Prefer the spawn rate of MP3. The other factor is your Int gear. Better gear = more damage = faster kills.

Himes were a hassle. I needed to HP wash a bit to ensure I could tank 2 hits from them to reduce the risk of death. I think I went there about level 70+. You may see a lot of "MISS" heal attacks but I didn't mind grinding that way since I was at MP3 getting the same results at an earlier stage.

From my response, you can safely say I'm a big fan of heal grinding. Saved me a bit on pots especially when you've got MP Eater.

Pirate pq definitely isn't slow at your level but it gets repetitive.

Might be too early for you now. But, you can try Elder Wraith if you are attentive enough to not die. Very good exp, looking at 30 min a level

 

Yes, good suggestion. Just watch out for BigFoot (BF) spawn at the maps where you find EWs. Similar caution to Himes map as well where Black Crow spawns.

Much faster compared to MP3 or GS2, or it could be just that it feels faster

 

i tried Himes at lvl 80, instantly died. Couldnt take 1 hit at all.. might be due to the low funded equips i have.

With this, do i still try elder wraith? or will you suggest pirate PQ till 90~ and head over to elder wraith?

Ideally im hoping to train together with a party to fully utilize HS

 

Are you using magic guard? You are going to have to use magic guard for sure. The pot burn is pretty crazy, but you can sell the drops for decent money if you have a shop.

 

Yeah, MG is a must unless you did some early HP washing. If you can't tank Himes, I think EWs are out of the equation then.

As what Amloner stated on Himes, pot burn is bad but you do get the 70% ear ring Dex scrolls to sorta make back some mesos. If you feel PPQ is something do-able, go ahead and grind some levels there for a bit. Not all the advice is applicable to everyone. Play the game you want to that best fit your style.
