I'm thinking of making a feedback thread about this but I want to get my facts straight before I go whining lol I got tired of waiting for CPQ2 parties to form, although lately that hasn't been much of an issue because of the population jump. I'm already halfway into my project so I'm not going to stop now but I do want a few things I'm confused about: Self leeching in CPQ2 seems to be a greater challenge as you need 300 CP accumulated on one side to summon 10 vikings on the other. (Not sure if Viking summon glitch is still a problem since the new update, can someone confirm?) The vikings spawn is random, I can't seem to see any consistency, is there a way to control where they spawn? My issue is they never want to cooperate and spawn on the top platforms. For those self-leeching in CPQ2, are you capping at a "sweet" spot number? I'm trying to do get the 300 CP, which gives me about 2 minutes to spam vikings, assuming spawn cooperates. Any physical classes you recommend for fastest farming? Right now I'm using a Sin because that's what I had available. But it's been a challenge, I'm under the assumption fighter would be the best resolution to this but I don't want to make the mistake of making a new character only for it to get screwed over by having a better option. Thanks!
CPQ2 Tiers: Tier0: i/l (it's just broken in cpq2, get an lv55 i/l mule can leech insane exp, don't bother to create other class as attacker) Tier1: Bucc(push, high accuracy, fast movement skills) Tier2: Spearman(hb) > Page/Fighter Tier3: Priest (healing station) Regarding of the spawn control, you have to clear all the mobs below in order to full spawn vikings(7). Also, I would like to suggest that royals should fix the spawn bug for cpq2.
I guess I didn't make myself clear in my initial post: I have currently 7 characters eligible for CPQ2, 3 of them are dedicated, 100% to CPQ2, while the remaining will be going onto 4th job (SE/SI/FP/Crash). Unfortunately I didn't take into consideration that I would need a CPQ2 attacker on the other team to accrue points. Currently the CPQ2 Mule is a Sin/Cleric and my int gear is being used on my permanent I/L mage. I'm trying to find out if there is a better way to control the Vikings (I read 7 on one side and kill mobs on bottom?) but those things don't seem to indicate/guarantee a good grouping on the top platforms that my I/L mage could exploit for fast grinding. I'm taking into consideration of making a new character for CPQ2 and feel like fighter would be the best choice. I don't agree that a bucc would be a good pick as most of the mobs at the bottom of the map are heavily spread and most of bucc's skills unfortunately are charge'd, which causes a significant delay.
