I noticed MapleLegends has 720p support. It looks great and wondering if MapleRoyals has any plan soon to implement 720p support. I already feel like its a pain on my 1080p monitor with its current resolution, so I can see the nightmares for people that run on 1440p or 4k.

Sorry. Might been bad wording on my part, but when mentioning 720p I meant 1280x720. Or 16:9. Or thats what google says about 720p

So it's not about the size, but about the ratio?

-.-' I use 4k monitor and it's not really a problem for me because you can enlarge the scaling layout in windows. Especially if you do multi clienting, like 4~8 clients, 4 : 3ratio is much better than 16:9.

Both. The point is that resizing to another resolution makes it looks horrible. Its like playing a PS1 game on your PS1 on ur TV with is on 1080p. Its horrible, blurry and sometimes hard for the eyes. Simple as that.

Most people are on 1080p or 1440p, so having 720p support would make a huge difference. And upscaling it wouldnt make it as horrible as it would be upscaling the current client.

Also resizing your whole windows for 1 game. What a horrible idea.

I'm currently using a TV as my 2nd monitor and I don't have any issues resizing my client on the 1080p monitor client

    And upscaling from 1280 x 720 or 1024 x 768 would be the same quality isn't it?

Also not sure why you so upset about me resizing my windows
You do realize I added the option of 3rd party app for those who don't wish to use my method right?

Lol, no I'm not upset. Never was. Also clarify a little more? There is no 1080p client. If it was I would never have had this thread. Unless your saying you resizing your client on a 1080p monitor works fine. It probably is, but everything so blurry. I even have issue reading the chat.

Anyways its just a feedback. Hopefully they add either 16:9 support or ups the current resolution to 1280x960 or 1440x1080. Either works imo.

Wrong word used in my previous reply, meant my 1080p monitor
And resizing of client does look fine on my monitor, no blurry

Not that easy to simply just up the resolution to the proposed 1280x960 or 1440 x 1080 cause the client have to be able to support it, and maps need to be redrawn
So even if this is in consideration, probably will take months or years before arriving

Yeah, I know upping the resolution will be hard. hence why I asked for 720p. That doesnt up the resolution. Your just making more stuff visible for 16:9 monitors. Which works great for me if I upscale from 16:9 like I said earlier with the MapleLegends client.

Hey @Leafy, curious what it looks like on your monitor?

I have been playing on a 4k display and haven't had issues with blurriness... unless i'm just blind and everything is blurry to me already (which is quite possible)!

Its not blurry if it leave it at native resolution. It just looks really blurry/bad if i decide to up it to a higher resolution like 1280x960 with resize programs.
