Hello Staff, Matt and Faye are in the loop with this problem already. "Protect Ludibrium" quest is not working properly - I have acquired 300 tachions and 100 mysterious powders, as required, and the quest reads as "complete". However, upon submission of quest to NPC and clicking "Ok" to accept the reward, nothing happens. I do not receive a reward, the quest items do not disappear from my inventory, and the quest is still read as "completed" under the "in progress' tab of my quest log. I thought I would update and reiterate this by saying that the quest does NOT work for me still. Hope an expeditious resolution to this glitch may be brought, as I am prevented from fighting Pap due to this hinderance . Thanks, Cinnamon
I'm having a similar issue, you can't get the Tachions/Powders to drop without the quest active, but if the quest is active, I get the no drops/spawn glitch, so I'm in a bit of a catch 22 :/
I'm in the same situation as Urban Juggernaut. Have forfeited quest twice, cc-ed, taken the quest again and once again, no drops at all with quest active.
Does anyone know if Cinnamons issue was fixed after a server check or if it was still ongoing even after one?
The issue is still on-going. I tested it myself with Ballistics today. After that I spawned the items needed and was still unable to complete the quest. The dialogue box shows appears to accept it and tells me what the rewards are, but afterward the items are not taken, you receive no reward, and the quest remains "completed" and waiting for turn-in.

papulatus pre quest keep bugging quest name: The Replacement Time Energy Hunt for 300 Tachion Hunt for 100 Mysterious Powder when i take its totaly buged, monsters dont drop any items or cash, they stop respawning after kill, and i neeed to use single target skills becouse when i use gene or any multi target skill like big bang and hit for exempele 10 monsters, it show dmg but only 1 monster die every usage of skill. when i fortify quest its totaly gone and i cant drop any quest items. kinda painfull. got 3 mysterious powders so far, and tachions seems not to drop anyway.
This is unfortunately a common problem with both this quest and the HTPQ/Genesis (pre) quests. Obviously we're looking for a way of fixing this, but for now, the best workaround is to do the quest as soon as you can after a server check/restart.
is there any chance that any GM could help me and create the items, just to help me to skip this quest? u see, when i take this quest , i got NO DROP, from ANY monsters, there is no way for me to drop it even after restart ;p it worked for me 1st time, but as i said i was abble to attack only 1 mob, after i took it again i couldnt drop anytging q_q
Sorry that would then mean we would have to honor it for everyone, which would be an incredible pain, we already have tons on our plate at the moment. but as Kat suggested - The best way would be to do this after a server check. The quest bug seems to start happen around 12-24 hours after the server has been restarted.
Happens to me the same, i try to do this quest i get 1 Tachion and 10 Mysterious Powder, when the mobs stop drop for nothing... i try call the GM but i have to wait for a Sever Check, and after that the quest work normal and i can do this at the end. Be pacience and keep trying after a Server Check. i do this and i get it !! good lucky.
Rather than creating a new thread, I'm bumping this one, as I'm STILL having this problem. I can't get any drops because of the quest glitch, but the items won't drop if you don't have the quest active, meaning I can never do Pap :/
