Just tested on my character that changed IGN recently, I'm able to PM and get replies from people Are you able to upload screenshots of the situation you described so that Admins can look into it?
Oh, i see Also, when you try to increase the popularity of that character with another character, the phrase "Your username was entered incorrectly" appears. I'll wait for the manager's response
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, it looks like I may have made a mistake in a couple of name changes in the server check by leaving a trailing space after character names. So the game is currently looking for "leyn ". I may be able to fix this if you can log out from your character for 30 minutes, and I will try to fix the name again. Let me know if/when I can attempt the name change again. I can't guarantee this will work though, and it might need to be done in a server check, but we can give it a go. Sorry for the inconvenience.
