Closed How to set gif as a profile picture

This is the gif I want, could you guys guide me on the correct steps?



I have tried the following
1. Use a square gif
2. Making it 500 x 500 px
3. Making it 200 x 200 px
4. Compress it from 750 to 33 KB
5. Uploading it directly from https://royals.ms/forum/account/avatar
6. Tried using other gifs

None of it works and I received no error messages.

What works: Using other forum users gif profile.

 

It seems we're just in time for the bi-annual breaking of avatar gifs.

 

Yeah, I follow the steps listed in that post previously. I still wasn't able to resolve it.

you can try a smaller size i guess?
i used 180x180

 

So I ran some tests and it seems that any gif below 200 px in height will display properly on your profile page, but will not display naturally throughout the forums. After testing a 15 x 15 px gif, I still have the same issue. I was using a 240 x 240 px gif about a year ago with no problems. This seems to be a recurring issue throughout the forums that happens every now and then--I'll tag @Chokladkakan to take a look when he gets the chance.
