I made a Bandit with plans to wash him as much as possible without base int, this is because I want to play him through low levels and enjoy PQs with other players. I decided to level him with INT gear but no base int and wash out all the extra MP into HP. So far it is working well and I have washed with fresh AP from 50-57 (35 Washes and counting) leaving me at 2742 HP with 1174 MP (20 Washes available atm before min MP). Do you think if i continue playing this way I will have enough hp to HT at the appropriate levels (155-200)? I haven't done the hard math but I keep telling if I keep leveling with +110 int and keep washing until I run out of excess MP this will be plenty of washes for shadower. Any thoughts on this? I could always restart and use the int gear with base int if this plan isn't very good, it would just suck that I miss out on early game experience of being OP at PQS. Thank you <3
I am considering to do the same as you, perhaps with minimal base int like 50 up to 100 to be able to enjoy and play through early game content. Technically you can play with unwashed shadower, meso guard allows it and you can HT safely (No, i don't have my own shadower yet but been looking around) however playing sed (which many parties will probably ask you to. Will be a problem, not impossible though) even then i'd say end game of 10k HP at lv 200 would do it for HT. Now if you want to throw more end game content in, the story would be different. But for things like CWK/HT you should be good. Perhaps someone experienced can shred some light in.
4 base int is definitely viable as long as you’re fine with wearing int gear to level through the later bossing levels. My shadower always had 4 base int, and I hit 10k hp by level 17x wearing around 120-150 int gear each level up (I think I only started wearing int gear after level 50 too), so I think you will be fine. And speaking from experience, 10k hp is more than enough to sed comfortably in HT. That said, some shadower friends tell me they regret not washing to 15k+, though personally I’m not sure if I would’ve still been playing if I had to worry about the costs of MP washing when I first started. You can always double check this using the HP washing calculator, which should be much more accurate than anecdotes
Do you have 10k base hp or 10k including Meso Guard? 10K base seems like plenty because that is effectively 20k hp with mg.
I've been playing with 4 base int and wearing int eq when I level up as a NL. I never had such strong int eq maybe averaging 50 int per level. At 135 i have around 7k hp. Not sure if this is relevant but seems like im quite far off. I think u can hit 10k?
The person was asking if it’s 10k hp or 10k hp including meso guard (which is 5k hp) I’m just following his word choice
i suggest trying to wash to ~12k hp so that you can tank ht heads (sometimes someone crosses while you're assassinating head b and you'll walk into the head while seduced)
