Well, I thought this belongs in Help & Advice because I really need some advice here about this issue. I'm from Israel, I spoke to some Israelis who play on MapleRoyals. They're pretty good people, and to be honest all Israeli's I met on private servers were nice and friendly. I even spoke Hebrew with some of them, and the conversation was good. But some of them keep complaining about the Zofran player who played here and got banned. Some of them, even started accusing me and thought I was him. I did some research and it seems he is playing on a different private server now. I'd like to ask if anyone can please explain why does every Israeli player get accused of being him? Its just weird and stupid, I got random whispers and chat invites in game, and my Intro thread turned into a mess because of this shit. Thank you.
I'll be honest with you. After talking to some Israeli players on MapleRoyals, I even found out one of them was accused of being Zofran at some point too. He even told me he almost got banned because the GM's thought he was Zofran, who is a banned player. So they thought he was ban evading. Eventually he didnt get banned, he proved he wasn't him through some method. It's just strange and weird that a community is concerned about one player, when there are 2500 online in game and out of that 2500, they focus on 1 player. Who cares about him? I noticed he plays on a different private server now, too. And there are many Israeli people, just because he was Israeli that means all Israeli players could be him? That's just kinda stupid, sorry.
From what I know, he quitted another server with a massive chunk of text, so I won't be surprised if he's back here If he's back here again, I will ask why he so dumb to get his own account banned then proceeds to ban-evade Why, Zofran, Why
I didnt know he quitted another server, to be honest I dont even know yet why he was banned here yet. Was it for something that violates rules, or just because someone from Staff didnt like him? Because Ive heard of players being banned just because of Staff's personal taste or opinion. That is very sad situation, I think no player deserves a ban unless he or she did something wrong and clearly violated rules. I dont care what happens with him, as long as no one starts accusing me or my Israeli friends of being him or having something to do related to him or with him. After the large amount of drama around / surrounding this player, I dont want to be involved with him or with what happens / happened with him. I'm just curious about why generally you'd take one player and make a big deal. This server's huge, probably the largest private server in the world at the moment. If anyone can explain to me why he was banned and why was he never unbanned / and where he plays now, that'd help me understand things better. My israeli friends have no idea where he is now or where he plays now. But I ask that no one bother me in game about this anymore, because honestly I've been getting strange whispers and invites in game about him and players calling me him, its getting quite annoying by now. I'd like to admit if I was banned on a server, I wouldnt come back if I'm not officially unbanned. I think I wasnt ever banned on any private servers except one, which closed a number of years ago. Other than that, I can call myself a very good and peaceful player.
